Thinking about Christmas! ( Wish List)

Hello Sweeties!

So is anyone getting ready for Christmas shopping or is it just me?
It is my favorite time of the year and I enjoy buying presents for my loved ones and making a list of presents I would like of my boyfriend ehhehehe! shh!
These bits are super cute and will list where they are from.

I will start off with the cute little books from Next, these would be such a beautiful present that would look lovely in someones kitchen or book shelf. Super cute and love that they are pastel colours very girly love it! Defiantly going to buy this as a present for someone this year. What do you think of them?
I love baking and making cupcakes, this present is a good price as well at £10. LINK
Baking is fun!!

The dress I thought would be good for Halloween night out or even a Christmas party with a few bits of jewelry that would brighten the outfit up a little. I am crazy about studs this year, I love everything with them on. LINK Not a bad price at £24.99 either. I love wearing black as well this year.

These shoes are form Next and thought they would go well with quite a lot of outfits as they are black and have lovely stud details on them. They would be good for Halloween night out this year.
LINK £50

This top I neeeeeeeed in my life, it is perfect and love baggy shirts and it is burgandy my favorite colour to wear. This top would look perfect with pair of boots and leggings this winter.
When I get paid this top will be mine! :)
£34 Topshop LINK

How cute is this Dog lovers diary, It would be perfect for a Christmas stocking filler!
I know I would love this :)

Models Own and Essie nails

Hi Sweeties!
While I was in London I used these two nail polishes and have fallen in LOVE with them, seriously such awesome products. Firstly I love the colour mint and have been wanting to try the Mint Candy Apple colour for ages, so I lent these products of Loulabeth. She has such an amazing set of models own polishes.

Mint Candy Apple- LINK
Models Own- LINK Set called Mirror Ball £20

The mint candy apple has been very popular with many people and I can see why, the products from Essie such good quality and you only need one coat on your nails.

The Mirror ball collection is amazing, £20 sounds a lot but for what you are getting it is so worth it. The polishes do take ages to dry that was one problem, saying this though when it did dry I absolutely adored the outcome. I can not stop looking at my nails and glitter is fun to work with.
everyone loves a bit of glitter, I am addicted to using glitter on my nail and it is fun for the party season for Christmas don't you think. :)
Honestly go buy the mirror ball box set now it is amazing!
Thank you Loulabeth for letting me lend these amazing products whilst I was visiting you in London.

Here is the finished piece!

Super glittery!!

One thing that is defiantly going on my Christmas wish list is the new box set by models own, which are these wonderland set ooooo. LINK

Next Beauty Event.

Wednesday night, Next invited their favourite Beauty Bloggers to The Hempel Hotel in London to showcase the new ranges for the season ahead! Complete with manicure, massage and eyebrow stations... not to mention beautiful Christmas lights and a wonderful floral aroma - it was certainly a night to remember.

Link to the Facebook photographs of the event

NEXT BEAUTY
AUTUMN/WINTER 2012
A TALE OF FOUR CITIES
New additions to Next’s fabulous fragrance collection

Joining Next’s wildly popular range of exclusive fragrances this season, is an exciting new launch. CITY COLLECTION offers a quartet of distinctive scents in eau de parfum, pampering body crèmes and indulgent home fragrance formulations – each evoking one of the world’s great fashion centres.

MILAN captures the aura of that fast-paced and furiously stylish Italian city. Top notes of melon and green apple give way to a heart of magnolia and violet and a lingering woody base. Confident yet feminine, this fragrance has a super-chic modern edge. LONDON has lychee and citrus top notes, a heart of rose and peony evolving to a powdery musk and cedarwood base. This intriguingly eclectic aroma reflects the British capital’s renown for individuality and creativity.
The essence of cosmopolitan uptown NEW YORK is represented by a radiant and captivating white floral, featuring tuberose and gardenia with elegant jasmine and sun-kissed orange blossom. PARIS, the home of haute-couture, is perfectly portrayed by an exotic floral bouquet of orchid, jasmine, ylang-ylang and orange blossom, with a base of musk and warm amber. It’s sensationally sensual and unapologetically decadent.
Each of these captivating new fragrances is available in a 50-hour candle (£9) and a 4-reed diffuser set (£18), as well as eau de parfum (from £8) and body crème (£8).
City Collection complements Next’s line-up of established favourites, including JUSTPINK, a beguilingly romantic green floral featuring soft fruits and pink blooms, with its spin-off colour cosmetics range of eye palettes, lip glosses and balms. CASHMERE and GOLD fragrances also now have complementary colour cosmetics, including glamorous but fabulously affordable make-up palettes and nail colour combos starting from as little as £6.
There’s a smart new look to Next’s main cosmetics range too. Key buys include Get-the-Look palettes for £4, or the set of 5 on-trend nail colours for just £3. And, to stow away all these lovely new beauty products, Next is the place to find gorgeous make-up bags from only £3.50. What’s not to love about the new beauty collections at Next?

The collection shown at the event consisted of these products- The collection

I love all these products as I work for Next myself here in Lancashire, such a wonderful company.

The Just Pink Collection.
A fresh green floral fragrance with soft fruits and pink blooms.
This product I own myself and have always been a fan of this perfume, it has such a sweet scent that can be worn everyday. £10 for 75ml.
The Just Pink Collection link to all the products.
These products make perfect Christmas presents and are super cute and such amazing quality for your money. From this range I would love this LINK defiantly adding this to my wish list for Christmas.

The Cashmere Range- Link
A soft and sensuous fragrance combining beautiful florals and delicate powdery musks.
£10 75 ML
LINK to the whole collection as you would love all of it if you love this perfume.
It is coming up to my mom's birthday this would be perfect as she loves the products Next sell. The packaging I adore on these products.

Gold Collection: LINK

A dazzling fragrance with golden flower nectars, gloriously sweet vanilla and molten amber. With keepsake tin.
The packaging and colour of these products are perfect to buy and have for any time of the year.
Link £12 74ML

If you wanted to buy any branded perfumes Next do these as well which is good as there is plenty to choose from. LINK
Perfumes such as Paco Robanne, Jimmy Choo and many more.

The perfect gift to give anyone this year would be these cosmetics, seriously cannot get enough of them. You can choose from smokey eye kits to models own nail polishes. LINK

For all of you girls that struggle to find something to buy your boyfriends, this would be the perfect gifts- LINK Really good prices and quality and perfect presents for this year. I know I will be getting some of these products as my boyfriend is super fussy and he would love these.
This would be my favorite to buy for him - LINK

CHRISTMAS'12
NEXT celebrates Christmas 2012 with glimmer and shimmer and a nod to heritage, plus its own clever take on all that’s new and noteworthy. From head turning eveningwear to cosy PJs, perfect presents to personal indulgences, NEXT has something for everyone!
BEAUTY: NEXT’s new boutique inspired collection is the must-give of the festive season, with every pampering treat from body lotions and bath bombs to candles and cute cosmetics bags – all in irresistible vintage-look packaging. Guys are bound to love the moustache shaving set. And all NEXT’s favourite fragrances are available in great value gift-sets.
WOMEN: The party season? NEXT makes a compelling pattern play in winter floral's, lace and lavish embellishment. The key mood is gothic and the colour to court is purple. Faux furs, spectacular earrings, studded clutches plus bejewelled printed shoes give any woman her very own red carpet moment. For country house weekends the prints to prize are heritage inspired geometrics in everything from pretty blouses to key trousers looks, while chill-beating coats and knits have a military swagger.
MEN: Guys will look good on any dancefloor in NEXT’s velvet jackets with floral or paisley patterned shirts. Or they can choose between contrast detailed tonic tailoring and NEXT’s latest take on the classic tux. Between times they can play country gent in elbow-patched tweeds, checked shirts and woollen ties – to which brogues add the perfect footnote.
CHILDREN: It’s all about the big blue – as boys and girls of all ages work shades from cobalt to navy with splashes of seasonal red (of course!) plus rich honey and chestnut tones. Think practical all-weather, all-terrain layers; mix quilts, plaids, bold stripes, and retro fairisle patterns. Older boys riff a boy-band-look with on-trend shapes in jackets, trousers and skinny-fit jersey tops or shirts colour-blocked in shades of teal and mulberry. Girls have their own take on the super-luxe metallics trend, with richly embellished party looks in old gold and tarnished bronze.
HOME: Lush metallic effects, silvered glass and faux fur glamourise the subtle grey-taupe colour palette of NEXT HOME’s Rough Luxe theme –played out in furnishings, accessories and seasonal décor. In heart-warming shades of red and pink, Christmas Comforts channels inspiration from craft traditions such as cross-stitch, hand-knitting and patchwork for quirky home accessories, charming tree trims and cute gift ideas. Modern Green delivers a sophisticated midwinter’s tale in lime, white and shimmering silver, with snowflake motifs and frost effects, while Chinoise Christmas works such eastern exoticism as blossom prints and wirework birdcages in tones of turquoise and teal. Indulge your friends, spoil your family, and treat yourself. For, thanks to NEXT, everyone will be saying Merry Christmas this year in glimmering, shimmering style.

*Thank you to Gemma for this email.
Hope you enjoyed this post. :)
Will you be buying any of these products for a wonderful Christmas?

Trip To London!

Hello Sweeties!
I wanted to update you all about my amazing few days in London, I adore this city and love traveling to see Loulabeth. I always have such a great time in London and will make sure I go quite a lot if I can.
Maybe one day soon I will live there when I graduate next year, watch this space!

I want to start this post of with what I ate and where I went to eat or food related stuff, well the first picture was taken in Harrods (such an amazing place omg) which I took for my Instagram (abikempen) all the Christmas stuff makes me so excited to start my
Christmas shopping!!! wanted to buy so much in Harrods (one day).
Loulabeth and I went to Wetherspoons for t one night, it is so worth going as I got a drink, main and pudding all for about £10. not bad at all I must say and it was gorgeous food! Just look at that waffle mmmm (Just said that in an American accent oops giddy thinking about London)
One of the other places we went was Costa, good old Costa never lets you down! We had a cheese and ham toasties and I had a raspberry and orange drink which was awesome!
Food is gooooood! so that is the food part we got up to mmm.

So I took some pictures on my way to London and ones when I got to London to show you guys, these ones bit mixture. London's weather is so much better than here in the North omy! look how sunny it was, this was like everyday that I was there :) Second picture is me sat waiting for the train to set off as I was early for the train by 20 minutes. I adore that hat too came in handy with my travels and photographing when it was a tad windy. It is from Primark for £3 such a bargain!
I love reading magazines such as Company, Glamour and Cosmo so this was a need for the train!
Omy this is a present of Loulabeth how cute is it, I adore it. Laura's such a wonderful friend <3

We went to the Natural History Museum which is always awesome no matter how many times I have been, always so interesting made me wish I did a science degree. We went to the V&A to have a nosey at the ball gowns exhibition.
Oyes! made In Chelsea started on Monday, best programme ever. was so happy for it to start while I was in London with Loulabeth as we both adore watching it.
I used Loulabeths models own and Essie polishes to create this when she was in university for few hours. will do a post on this soon for you all .
The cupcakes where made by Loulabeth for my arrival to London how cute is she, they tasted amazing and are super cute!

We decided after watching Made In Chelsea we would go have a wonder around Chelsea and go into Harrods for a nosey at all the beautiful things! How I wish I could shop in there all the time beautiful handbags and I wanted all of the dog products for my beautiful Izabella because she deserves it all cutie.
Harrods was amazing and we had such a wonderful time walking around and having a good chat about everything. Thank you Loulabeth for such a wonderful time!

We went to a cute bakery for a cute cupcake and a cup of t, it was perfect!
Best cupcake I have ever had it was from The hummingbird Bakery in Chelsea.
I would highly recommend this bakery and I want to go back asap! <3

Finally when I got home I was met with flowers and some big cuddles of my gorgeous baby Bella <3
Happy girl!

Hope you enjoyed this post sorry it is very long but I really enjoyed my time in London.

I adore this super cute website to find ideas and look through quotes to cheer me up and make me think clearly about stuff.
Go have a try you will not be able to stop pinning!
:)
For little presents at Christmas I would love to make these, I used to make them a lot when I was younger and really enjoyed it. I want to try making them again and becoming creative with bits n bobs again.I did art and design at college and photography at university at the moment so being creative really makes me happy.
Expect some hand made gifts!
If I make some I will do a post about them :)
All you will need is:
  • Clean jar. baby food jars are perfect for this.
  • some cute small figurines or Jewelry.
  • water
  • glitter
  • super glue.
