Olivia Burton Watches Wishlist!

I have been meaning to buy a new watch and these are the sort of style I am looking for summed up in one wish list. I adore the Olivia Burton watches and the designs are super cute, I adore anything with an animal on it. I love the owl, butterfly and hummingbird design not just because its cute and what I normally go for but its also different. It is a little more funky for an everyday watch, I love leather straps on my watches and I would love one for work. I leaning more towards number two for my work watch because the strap won't get dirty and it would go with a lot of my work outfits due to it being a light brown strap.

I wish I could have all of these for a different day of the week, they are beautiful and I am so tempted to get one soon. The hummingbird has to be my all time favorite in this collection and I love how cute and girly it is, I may have to get this one as a Christmas present! I heard that butterflies give Geminis good luck once and every since that day I have believed this, so I am so drawn to the butterfly design on most things so that is why I really want the butterfly design.

Which one do you like?

Sunday Pooch face #8

Park / bedtime

So this feature of my blog I really enjoy doing each week, I have missed a couple weeks off due to being ill with a cold. I have been taking Bella on little adventure walks, we try to find new places to walk to keep it different. One place we both love to go is the park of course and top left image is her enjoying the Autumn leaves. She is such a sweetie, she listens to every command and she cuddles me to sleep every night. She is truly our little baby and we adore her so much. Bella loves to go under the duvet while I type up blog posts or read magazines, I have no idea why but with Winter setting in I don't blame her. It is pouring it down with rain right now so luckily we are tucked up together!

I will start with the goal I had set and sup it up next to it, here  it goes!

Goals that have been met!

  • Will go to the gym again like I used to last summer and work out to be healthy and eat healthier and look after myself plus want to look good at my graduation and feel happy.- I lost half a stone for graduation and I really enjoyed the day!
  • Graduate with a decent grade! it is very important to me this one.- This one defiantly is ticked of the list!
  • Finish my dissertation to the best I can and get on to the final show in London- I tried my best at my dissertation it was the hardest thing I have ever had to do but got through it and I went to my London show and exhibited my work! woop!
  • make sure I take time out to relax - Getting better at this and I am more relaxed!
  • All I want to do is work hard and enjoy my job- I have a great job that I love!
  • Deal with my anxiety and enjoy my life because I am lucky - This is getting a lot better, I still have bad days but I am able to control it better!
  • Take plenty of photographs and get them printed so I do not loose them if laptop dies.- I have printed so many photographs lately and want to carry this on.
  • Do my final show at university to the best I can possibly do- I tried my best and I was so pleased with the result, I even got nominated for an award!
I had no idea I had ticked so many off my list this year, Looking back these past few months it has been great. I loved university and I even went to London to exhibit my work which was one of my big goals. Seventeen Blow Out Mascara!

By looking at the bottom photograph you may think I have already used this multiple times and made it go all yukky? wrong, unfortunately this is how it came when I just opened it after purchasing it, highly disappointed by this mascara. First look at it in the shop I thought why not try a different mascara and I saw this packaging looks fun and you might think that it will help your eye lashes pop. It had no effect on my eyelashes, it hardly showed up and made my eyes look weird as I am used to having mascara that really makes my lashes stand out. I love to do my eye make up and the key part for me is a strong mascara that will help lengthen the lashes. This just felt awkward and clumpy on the eyes and I have wasted my money on it, I try to use this after my reliable mascara to build it up so that I feel that it won't go to waste.

If you want a mascara that is really subtle and not heavy at all this may be the one to use, the brush is a little on the large side too.

For the price I think it is far from a reasonable mascara even for an everyday look, It looks clumpy and horrible from first glance and I was really upset it wasn't nice on the eyes. I was expecting good stuff from it but now it just gets used now and then for makeup that won't be seen further than my house. I feel sad that it was not great but I know now and it is all about testing different products to suit your look.

Have you used this product?

Toni & Guy Hair Mask

Toni & Guy Hair Mask £7.19 Boots

This little box of beautiful hair mask is incredible, it is a must for really dull dry hair this Winter. My hair has grown so much this last year and it starts to get tangled and annoying. I thought I would buy a more expensive drug store hair mask to help me out this Winter and this has not let me down. You pop a tea spoon amount into your hair and leave it on for 5 minutes. You are left with silky smooth, manageable hair that looks shiny and healthy. I have used  this three times this month and it has hardly made a dent into it. I think this will last me well past Christmas which is grand as it is out of my budget at the moment.

I dye my hair a lot as I love having dark brown hair that looks even all year round and no roots showing but this plays hell on my hair and I am so happy I have found a product that I trust to do a good job. After one use I was impressed it defiantly does what it says and is perfect for a pamper night.

I have tried so many brands to try revive my hair but this one I am prepared to pay the price of it, I got this in a three for two offer at Boots a few months back. It has worked a dream and leaves my hair silky and looking healthy, defiantly what I want.

reasonable priced, healthy looking hair after one use and smells amazing, I defiantly want to keep using this product due to being so pleased with how my hair looks now. It is healthy and I adore using this product at least twice a week as a conditioner. It lasts a very long time too which is a bonus as I adore it, this is my brand new favorite product of the year.

School Days!

I started off my School life in South Africa and I continued to study there till I was 15. The first school I went to was called Mickey Mouse and this was my first school for a few years. I then went on to do one year at a different school but it just wasn't right for me then moved on to go to Aston Manor in which I stayed there till the beginning of high school. I then went on to go to an Afrikaans high school called Kempton park Hoerskool in which this was difficult because my first language was English, I taught myself to understand Afrikaans in three months and I can still make basic conversation and count to 100 in it.  I really loved that school even though it was so difficult to keep up I still was very determined to do well. I then moved to England and started school at Penwortham Sports and Technology College and did two years of high school there. This meant I went from a year 7 in South Africa to a year 10 in England so it was difficult to fit in and keep on the same stage as everyone else due to missing so much school. I wasn't a huge fan of school and was so happy to finish age 16 rather than 18 in South Africa.

When I started college I knew I wanted to do Art and Design as it was what I felt was my strength. I loved college it was the best 3 years of my life, I attended Runshaw College and loved every minute of it.
I did two years of Art & Design then went on to do Photography for one year which I knew I wanted to further. I am not very good at exams and tests, I panic too much and end up not doing as well as expected but with Art and photography I knew I loved it. I finished college with A and two BB's which is amazing considering I struggled at school. In my first year at college I finished with an A in which I made a dress for my final project!

I then went on to Uclan in Preston and started a Ba Hons course in Photography, I never knew exactly what I wanted to become when I left and I still don't but I enjoyed every minute of university. I finally knew it was what I wanted to do and it was one of my life goals to go to university and make my family proud, specially even though my dad lives in South Africa I wanted to show him that I have made something of my life. I sent him a photograph from my graduation and it made him very proud so I have defiantly achieved one of my life goals! I photographed an owl sanctuary for my final project which I pushed myself to get as perfect as I could in the amount of time and I ended up going to London to exhibit my work which was amazing. I had so much fun doing this and loved every minute of it even when I got so stressed I cried because some photo shoots went so bad! I now have a degree in Photography and really enjoyed the journey of getting it, best three years of education and going to my graduation knowing as a child I set myself a goal of getting a degree was an amazing feeling!

Pamper Night!

So today I thought I would do a post about a pamper night I had right before my interview for my new job the next day. I enjoy having at least one night a week when you relax and have a bubble bath and use all your products. I Only took a few photographs of the products I used and I won't go into huge detail because there will be separate reviews going up of each one.

I usually start off with a bubble bath and then use all my products such as my Tony & Guy hair mask, Boots Face mask which is amazing and its cheap too. It really is the one I go to if my skin feels horrendous and it refreshes it and makes it feel amazing. As you may know I love Soap and Glory, every products they have has been a winner in my eyes because the smell of them is beautiful and they make your skin feel incredible, I am using the Sugar Crush body scrub at the moment and adore it. I also am a big fan of Lush products and treat myself to some now and then when I get paid, this one I have used so many times and it is nearly finished but you can also use it on your hair and it makes it feel super soft, I love the fact it has sea salt in it.
Purity face wash removes all my make up gently and it helps to start off the pampering, I love having my skin looking healthy and sometimes it needs a boost.

After my bath I love to do my nails and make sure they look neat and tidy and well painted. I have a huge collection of different nail colours so this is a fun task to do. My favorite nail polish at the moment is the Barry M Gelly nails because the finish of them is just perfect.
All the full reviews of each product will be up soon once I have used them for a decent amount of time to really test them but so far so good!

What products do you use pamper yourself?

Katy Perry Inspired Look!

As a lot of my friends and family know I am a huge fan of Katy Perry and I cannot wait for her new album to come out. I am loving her new look with this album she is absolutely gorgeous and I would love her wardrobe as she always looks so fashionable and perfect.
So I thought I would do a look inspired by her using Topshop and Missguided, this look is based on her I tunes Festival look.

I am loving that tartan is coming back again into fashion and if anyone could pull off a look it would be Katy Perry. I found a tartan skirt on Boohoo that could be used to re create this look and some accessories from Topshop to add some sparkle. In the photograph Katy Perry is wearing a choker necklace and I thought this black and gold one would compliment this look and bring it together. The shoes are so cute and I would wear this with this look any day!

I could not find a perfect denim top to go with the tartan skirt but I thought that the black leather detail sleeve shirt would look great with all the black to bring out the tartan more. I love the leather detail on the sleeves it adds something different to the look. Add some light coloured tights if you wanted to cover your legs for Autumn and some red lippy and you are set to go!

Lush Christmas!

One / Two / Three / Four / Five / Six

I adore Christmas and love everything about it, family time and the food is gorgeous. I do love one more thing about Christmas and that is the amazing Lush products, you cannot go wrong with a cute bath bomb that breaks your heart to use because it is just so darn cute! I have done this post because I missed my Wednesday wish list and this is what I would love out of the new Christmas stock, I know its so early but I get excited for Christmas and it is only a few weeks away now it will soon come around! :)

I used the Snow Fairy wand and shower gel last year and fell in love, this year I will be buying a large bottle of it to last me all year. The smell is the best smell you will ever use in the shower and the wand lasts for at least five uses. It is the best fruity pink bath gel ever made and I want to buy so much of it. I may even go out on boxing day this year and try purchase lots and lots, Loulabeth?

How cute are the little snow men and penguins, omg! I adore penguins and really would not want to use this in my bath, it is just super cute. This penguin is modeled on the smallest penguin in the world, now that s cute. The snow men will make your skin super soft because it contains cocoa butter mmm!

The Fun tin just looks awesome, I went to Liverpool on Saturday and saw it, it looks super fun and would make a great present! I also want all the lip scrubs this year, specially this one it looks fab!

What would you buy this Christmas from Lush?
