South Beach Summer Event At Lola's

I was lucky enough to be able to attend the South beach blogger event in Manchester yesterday. I had so much fun, it was great to meet so many bloggers that I have never met before. They were all so lovely, we walked to the Northern quarter to the event together. We arrived 10 minutes early to the event after we all met at Piccadilly gardens but this was great we got to check out all the amazing cocktails on the specially made menu. South Beach were very welcoming as we arrived and the first thing i noticed was how much effort had gone into setting the event up. Lola's Lounge in Manchester was the perfect location for this event, it made me excited to see all the new bikinis. Have you seen the cake they had at the event, it was perfection. Perfect timing for a little more cake on my birthday right? ( BakeOrama

I want to thank Skin Health Spa for painting my nails a perfect orange colour. They used OPI nail polishes which look great on. It was a perfect touch to be able to get your nails done, every bloggers idea of heaven at an event. It was lovely to meet Ebony, she is the lovely lady in this photo picking out a great nail colour. I loved the texture nail polish she chose. Head over to her blog to see her blog post on this event!

It was great fun to have a pinata at this event, here is Hannah Louise having a go, below is the aftermath of the pinata breaking. I absolutely loved the whole theme and venue. The music was great too, some Katy Perry came on which made me and Beckie so happy!

 Ebony / Me / Beckie

These two bikinis were my absolute favourites, I love the cute floral print on the first one and the style of it. I also love the colour and print of the second one with the cute umbrella print. When I book my holiday I know where I will be going to buy a new bikini. I loved all the new pieces, everything was so cute and perfect for a summer holiday. The entire night was so much fun, it finished my birthday perfectly. I met so many amazing girls and had a few yummy cocktails. A great treat to end my 23rd birthday, I want to say a huge thank you to everyone I met and to South Beach for hosting this event and thank you for the lovely goodie bag. I would love to attend more events in Manchester, it was a great night! Feel free to check out all the lovely girls blogs I met last night, I will leave all their blogs linked below, I just gave them all a follow on Bloglovin!

phoenix Rising Lush bath Bomb!

The name of this Lush bath bomb is exciting, it makes you think that the bath will turn amazing colours and look super interesting. It does all this as it slowly releases the purple colour and then just before it completely fizzes away it brings out this gold liquid which then creates amazing swirls in the bath. I loved the colour my bath turned its important for me when I try a Lush bath bomb that it is exciting to use and it actually does something to the water. This ticked all the boxes, it smells amazing and it works wonders on the skin. My skin felt super soft and I felt great after using this bath bomb. I love that it was a fun bath bomb to use. My boyfriend picked this out for me as a surprise when he went to Manchester.

Its a mystical, shimmering purple and green bath bomb. The fragrance of smells exotic fragrances, which is not my favourite scent at all but this worked for me. I am a huge fan of sweet smells rather than strong cinnamon but it smelt great and it was relaxing.  The scent will lift your mood which makes it a great up lifting bath time favourite. I would use this product again as it was an exciting one to use. I love how the shea butter and cocoa made my skin feel amazing and hydrated. I am so pleased with my boyfriends choices from Lush that day and he has done well picking such a great bath bomb.

There is still a few more day to nominate your favourite blogs in the Cosmo blog awards, if you would like to nominate my blog that would mean the world to me. more info here! Thank you to everyone that reads my little blog.

The Body Shop- Raspberry Body Scrub

Last week after I attended the Benefit launch of the Push up liner I headed home and whilst I waited for my train in Easton station, I stumbled into The Body Shop and decided I needed a treat as you do. I happened to see that there was an offer on, buy one get one half price. I got two gorgeous body scrubs as I use them every time a bath and shower. I am addicted to body scrubs, I have so many that I really did not need any more. I am so pleased that I got this gorgeous body scrub, it smells incredible. Almost to good to think that its not jam, the texture of this product is the same as jam. I love that it has this texture, it feels great on your skin and the colour of it is so vibrant. It contains raspberry fruit extract and raspberry seeds which helps to leave the skin feeling extra smooth and soft. Every time I use this product I just cannot get over how good it smells.

It helps to remove dead skin cells and creates a softer, smoother finish. I love to use this every time I bath or shower. It won't last very long due to me wanting to over use it  and then I will have to re purchase it, it honestly is incredible. It feels gentle on the skin but it does the job, its perfect to use just before you apply your fake tan to create a smooth base to work on. My tan came out smoother and looking very natural with the help of this beauty of a product.

I love that a little goes a long way with this product, it glides all over the skin leaving you feeling  pampered. .I think that this product would work well on sensitive skin, it does not hurt the skin when you exfoliate. Sometimes you can get a product that almost leaves you skin feeling over scrubbed and sore, this product is super gentle.  This scent is perfect for Spring/ Summer, the texture of it is fun to use as well. Its a great overall product.. It has a super fresh feel to it which I love, I am addicted to any product that smells fruity.

There is still a few more day to nominate your favourite blogs in the Cosmo blog awards, if you would like to nominate my blog that would mean the world to me. more info here! Thank you to everyone that reads my little blog.

Katy Perry - Prismatic World Tour Manchester

Last night I had such a great night at the Katy Perry Prismatic World Tour, I have been waiting for this tour since she announced she will be releasing a new album. It is totally different to what she did for her California Dreams tour but that's why I love her. She can change her style but its still her story she is telling through her music. I love the Prism album, so many amazing songs on it. I loved hearing Dark Horse, Roar, Unconditionally and By the grace of god. She always puts on such a great show, the stage was perfectly designed so that she felt closer to you no matter where you sat. I would have loved to be standing but the tickets we got were great. I could still see her and the view to the stage was so clear. I loved her support act Icona Pop, I must admit I only know one of their songs but each song they sang became so catchy and it was great.

All her outfits looked incredible, Dark Horse for me was the best designed song on the tour with Katy sitting on a horse ( not a real one) coming up onto the stage. I loved her cat suit for the International smile and Firework was amazing to end the night with. Firework has to be one of my all time favourite songs by her, its a great feel good song. I am a huge Katy Perry fan and If I could I would go to another show on this tour. Just happens shes in Manchester on Saturday and its my birthday next week so just maybe I could see if someone will go with me! I really enjoyed the night and you always leave her concerts feeling happy and shes an inspirational person to so many age ranges. On the dance cam you could see a dad doing his dad dance which was great, everyone cheered him on as he danced. Its a great atmosphere when I see her live, everyone's so happy.

I went to her California Dreams tour two years ago and that was equally amazing, I love that album so much. I am so pleased she sang I kissed a girl, Firework and California gurls. You can really tell she cares for her fans, when she sang Birthday she got one of her fans on stage who's birthday it was and sang to them whilst they sat in a big chair with a crown on. Its my birthday next week and I secretly wished that was me, she was one lucky birthday girl.

Overall I had a great night, she defiantly never lets you forget her tour and she has your attention all the way through the concert. She is such an inspirational person and I adore her, lots of my friends and family know she is the one artist that I adore and my boyfriend knows very well. I have her album on all the time in my car and he was kind enough to buy me tickets to see her last night for my birthday.

Are you going to see Katy Perry in her Prismatic Tour?

Loulabeth- My make Up Bag Essentials

My best friend Abi & I had recently been chatting about how bloggers should collaborate with each other more often, just like YouTubers do. It's a great way to share content across a broader audience & receive feedback from your friends readers too! Our first collaboration post is our makeup bag essentials. We thought this would be fun to share on our beauty blogs, especially because I always love a nosey into other people's makeup bags!

The first product I'm going to mention is the Revlon PhotoReady Foundation (minus a lid - thanks Tilly pug for chewing that up!) which is my go to base product at the moment. I love the creamy formula & the dewy glow it gives my skin thanks to the shimmer that is built into the product. It's also a great match for my pale skin, being so pale I often struggle to find a shade that isn't too orange for me.

The next product you will find in my makeup bag is the HD Brow Palette. I use the medium brown shade to fill in my brows & I'd honestly be lost without it! My eyebrows are very light compared to my brown hair & they're also quite thin so they need a bit of help! I then go over the powder with Maybelline Brow Drama in Medium Brown just to finish them off & keep them in place all day.

I'm really loving gel liner at the moment, for both drawing cat flicks but also for filling in my tightline (I think thats what it's called!) to enhance my eyes & make my mascara look fuller. The one I'm using at the moment is the L'Oreal SuperLiner Gel. My absolute favourite mascara has to be Benefit They're Real, I've had so many free samples of this from various beauty boxes & magazines it's about time I bought the full size one! The length & volume it adds to my lashes is amazing in comparison to any other mascara I've tried.

Concealer wise I usually have either Collection Lasting Perfection or Dainty Dolly in my makeup bag. The Dainty Dolly concealer is super pale & provides really good coverage for under eye circles & blemishes. It also has amazing staying power as it's quite a chalky formula so acts like a powder once it's applied.

I usually have quite a few lipsticks in my makeup bag but rather than showing all of those I just thought I'd include my current lip balm as lip colours depend on what mood you're in or what you're wearing! I love the Balmi lip cubes, not only are they a really cute little product but they also provide lots of moisture & the Strawberry flavour I have smells & tastes yummy too. I bronze my face a little with the Bourjois Chocolate Bronzing Powder. I think this is perfect for pale skinned girls like myself to add a little colour to our faces & I like to look a little tanned now it's Summer time. I literally haven't used another blusher since I bought the NYX Cosmetics Powder Blush in Peach, it's just so pretty & compliments my skintone really well. I can see it remaining in my makeup bag for a long time! Finally, I always finish my makeup with a little dusting of MAC's Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft & Gentle to highlight my cheek & brow bones!

OOTD Topshop Wishlist - Katy Perry Prismatic World Tour!

On Tuesday night I will be in Manchester seeing Katy Perry in concert, I cannot explain to you my excitement. I saw Katy Perry in her California Dreams tour 2 years ago and that was incredible so I am super excited to see what she will do this time around. I am yet to find a outfit to wear and I was browsing around the internet finding some inspiration for when I go shopping tomorrow. I found a few things that I could possibly wear and decided to make a little wish list for anyone else trying to find an outfit for a concert.

I love this Gingham bodycon tunic I am a huge lover of black and white outfits and for this concert I would love to wear this outfit from Topshop with a few of her own accessories from Claires. I would pair the bodycon dress with these cute cut out white boots, they are incredible. This would be a totally new style for me but I love how it has turned out. I love the cute cat ears from Katy Perry's line at claires, this may have to be a little purchase with an outfit I chose to go with tomorrow. Its just for fun and I her concert always makes you smile. Its great to hear all your favourite songs live and she is my style inspiration for sure. I would take a small bag like this cute black Karla bag which has a easy strap on it to keep all your things safe whilst you listen to the music, you can keep this bag close as its small enough to feel comfortable to carry. I think its a great idea to bring out a few jewelry pieces to have a bit of fun with your outfit and get involved in her concert. I am so excited and cannot wait to hear all my favorite songs, I am totally a huge huge fan of hers!!

Are you going to any of Katy Perry's tour dates?
Would you wear this outfit?

Benefit - They're Real Push Up Liner!

Introducing you to the new member of the They're Real family, something that has changed the beauty industry for the better. Making it easier to apply your eyeliner by hugging so close to your eye that makes it easy to apply. Are you scared of liquid eyeliner or when you use them you end up with panda eyes from trying to make them perfect or the same? This product is sure to change your life, anyone can use this product and create the perfect flick. It is designed perfectly to glide across your eye to help you create the perfect look. This is a gel liner in a pen with a soft angled tip which draws on the line perfectly. You have maximum control from every angle and it gently pushes lashes to one side to get closer to your lash line. The pen has a wide base to provide a more stable application to the eye, you can spot innovation even before applying this product. It took Benefit over five years to perfect this product and you can see why from just looking at it.

This is the first ever lash hugging gel liner pen. All you have to do is twist the bottom of the pen to push up the gel liner, slowly glide along the gel liner onto your eye lid. I am really pleased I have been given the chance to be one of the first people to try this product out and I can 100% tell you it is a game changer. I always wear liquid eyeliner and it has been part of my make up routine for years. One thing I struggle with is getting the flicks to match and look incredible, I always end up with one not matching or having to start again because I have ended up with panda eyes. This product I applied as I would for my everyday make up routine and it went on first time, both sides easy to do. It took me seconds to create the perfect flicks and much better than the products I have been using for years. I love that it dries a matte black, I have never been a fan of glitter or shiny eyeliners. It is easy to apply using the pen, the stability of this product works wonders.

This gel liner is water proof, you can remove it with water proof products or the Benefit They're Real Remover which works wonders when you need to remove the gel liner. This product is a real game changer to my make up routine and the beauty world, I am really pleased with this product and with more applications I will end up with perfect flicks. I am going to be using this when I go to the Prismatic tour on Tuesday to make my eyes even more dramatic. I think this is a product that every girl should have in their beauty essentials, thank you Benefit for giving me the chance to try this out, it certainly will be in my favourites for years to come..

BENEFIT THEY'RE REAL PUSH UP LINER LAUNCH & EVENT

On Monday I traveled down to London from the North for my first ever blog event, I was super nervous and had no idea what to expect. I love London and having a day there was lovely, myself and Rob decided to make a day of it and we walked around London for most of the day. We walked around parks, walked to Trafalgar Square and shopped in Convent Garden. It was so sweet of Rob to come on this journey with me and wait for me whilst I went to the benefit Cosmetics event where they release a new exciting product!!

I felt really lucky to be invited to the launch of Benefits new release, 'They're Real' Push-up Liner!

I am so pleased that I was able to work with Benefit on this and join them in this exciting release, being in the same room as so many lovely bloggers felt incredible. It was incredible to be able to be one of the first to try out this product, I wear liquid eyeliner everyday and to have something perfect it for me would be the dream product, which happens to be benefit. This is a real game changer for the beauty world, as you may know once your eyeliner goes wrong there is no fixing it and I end up with panda eyes!
Benefit always put in so much effort for their blogger packages and it was no different at the event, it was decorated with security tape and a huge pink banner. We were greeted by a man dressed in a police uniform at the door in Leicester Square.

When we arrived inside we had our mug shots taken and then served fruit, muffins and cocktails by prison guards. The venue was decorated with metal bars and lots of tables for us all to sit together to wait for the presentation to begin. I got to meet so many amazing bloggers and I felt super nervous for my first ever big event but I want to say a big thank you to Lydia who made the night feel less scary and more amazing than it could have already been. I felt super shy and scared at first but the Benefit team and all the amazing bloggers made me feel really at ease and I had a great time!

It felt incredible to listen to one of Benefits leading ladies and hear all about the evolution of this amazing new product.  It was interesting to hear all about the work they put in to the branding, product and testing. It took them five years to perfect this product and they 'lived' in Japan engineering labs and took this product to test around the globe. You can see how much hard work and love has been put into the design of this product just by looking at it. Every detail of this product has been taken into consideration. We were shown interviews from Elle magazine about this product and you can see that this product is defiantly something everyone should be excited about. Elle were given an unbranded version of this product to test out, which confirmed that this product is defiantly going to be a game changer in the beauty world.
The beautiful ladies at Benefit then went on to show us all how to use this product. I am so excited to be able to perfect my winged eyeliner with the help of there amazing tips. I will be doing a full review of this product on my blog this week. Benefit are the first to bring it out and you can purchase this product on the 28th June, are you excited about this product?

The unveiling of this beautiful product was super exciting!

Here is a sneaky photo of the product before I do a full review for you on my blog soon. We were so lucky to receive this goodie bag full of the They're Real products, Benefit thank you for being so generous. First thing we all did was test this product out, a room full of bloggers testing out this product and feeling very excited about it. I cannot wait to do a full make up look using this product and then removing it with the new eye make up remover. That is all I am going to say about this product, you will have to stay tuned to see my full review soon!
