Loulabeth- My make Up Bag Essentials

My best friend Abi & I had recently been chatting about how bloggers should collaborate with each other more often, just like YouTubers do. It's a great way to share content across a broader audience & receive feedback from your friends readers too! Our first collaboration post is our makeup bag essentials. We thought this would be fun to share on our beauty blogs, especially because I always love a nosey into other people's makeup bags!

The first product I'm going to mention is the Revlon PhotoReady Foundation (minus a lid - thanks Tilly pug for chewing that up!) which is my go to base product at the moment. I love the creamy formula & the dewy glow it gives my skin thanks to the shimmer that is built into the product. It's also a great match for my pale skin, being so pale I often struggle to find a shade that isn't too orange for me.

The next product you will find in my makeup bag is the HD Brow Palette. I use the medium brown shade to fill in my brows & I'd honestly be lost without it! My eyebrows are very light compared to my brown hair & they're also quite thin so they need a bit of help! I then go over the powder with Maybelline Brow Drama in Medium Brown just to finish them off & keep them in place all day.

I'm really loving gel liner at the moment, for both drawing cat flicks but also for filling in my tightline (I think thats what it's called!) to enhance my eyes & make my mascara look fuller. The one I'm using at the moment is the L'Oreal SuperLiner Gel. My absolute favourite mascara has to be Benefit They're Real, I've had so many free samples of this from various beauty boxes & magazines it's about time I bought the full size one! The length & volume it adds to my lashes is amazing in comparison to any other mascara I've tried.

Concealer wise I usually have either Collection Lasting Perfection or Dainty Dolly in my makeup bag. The Dainty Dolly concealer is super pale & provides really good coverage for under eye circles & blemishes. It also has amazing staying power as it's quite a chalky formula so acts like a powder once it's applied.

I usually have quite a few lipsticks in my makeup bag but rather than showing all of those I just thought I'd include my current lip balm as lip colours depend on what mood you're in or what you're wearing! I love the Balmi lip cubes, not only are they a really cute little product but they also provide lots of moisture & the Strawberry flavour I have smells & tastes yummy too. I bronze my face a little with the Bourjois Chocolate Bronzing Powder. I think this is perfect for pale skinned girls like myself to add a little colour to our faces & I like to look a little tanned now it's Summer time. I literally haven't used another blusher since I bought the NYX Cosmetics Powder Blush in Peach, it's just so pretty & compliments my skintone really well. I can see it remaining in my makeup bag for a long time! Finally, I always finish my makeup with a little dusting of MAC's Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft & Gentle to highlight my cheek & brow bones!
