Brand Focus: Make Up Revolution

Let me introduce you to my new make up obsession, you can purchase Make Up Revolution in Superdrug. I love trying out affordable make up and new brands, I wanted to share with you my first impression of this brand before I head straight into individual reviews and make up looks using them. My overall first impression was I love the packaging, its sleek and professional but with a fun twist to each collection. With 300 products available so far I think this brand will do well, there is something for everyone in this range. The quality of the packaging I adore, nothing worse than a flimsy eye shadow palette that opens and breaks at every opportunity. The packaging is of an incredible standard and you would be able to pop one of the eye shadow palettes in your luggage for a holiday.
I love that there seems to be a vast amount of shades to suit everyone. You can purchase 100 shades for just £12* which could also make a great birthday or Christmas present idea. The quality of the eye shadows impressed me. There are matte, shimmer and bright colours to chose from so any occasion this make up palette will cover you. I am a shimmer, matte type of girl so I most likely will use all the browns and glitters to create a smokey eye to go with my winged eye liner. Saying that though I am so tempted to try out some new looks using some of the colours that are out of my comfort zone. If I do I will share it with you on my blog, I will do full reviews on all the products soon.
100 shades to chose from!! £12*
I love how much detail has gone in to all the collections, there is something for everyone. I think this brand will do well when it comes to Christmas, I am already excited to buy some for my family. My cousin will love the #Selfie palette. I love the fun idea behind the palettes, I love the make up geek one. Yet again the quality of the eye shadows are of high standard, I think these may take over my Mua obsession. I am excited to pop into my local Superdrug to see these on the stands, they have already made a big influence on the blogosphere world. I am excited to create make up looks using this brand for you, I already think this will be a drugstore brand I can trust.
 Fun packaging
I love how affordable this brand is, you could kit yourself out with your first make up bag or add more and not break your budget. The 10 eye shadow palette comes in at £4.99* and the 36 shade palette comes in at £7.99* which is incredible. If you want to experiment with make up before taking the big step to more expensive brands such as Mac why not try these out first to see what suits you best. I love the front of these palettes, they are super fun and cute. I will be purchasing some for my family this Christmas as stocking fillers.
Each shade has a name which I love, nothing worse than finding one you love but it has no name. I think it gives it more of a personal touch, I most likely will use lights, Adoration and no comment. I love how shimmery they are, perfect for a small touch of glamour.
I wanted to show you the quality of the eye shadows, all of them are consistent and all have the same quality. This was with one sweep of the eye shadow, it shows you how pigmented they are. I'm going to wear some to work tomorrow to test out how long it stays on, will it last the day? I am in love with this brand and so excited to see what else they come up with, there is already over 300 products available and all of them are super exciting. They have a large range of products ranging from eye shadows, BB creams, foundations, blushers. I am excited to read more reviews on this brand, they only launched a couple months ago and already they have made a big bang into the beauty world.

Let me know if you would try this brand or if you own some?
