Mini Primark/ Matalan Haul.

yesterday i decided to head out to town for a look around and to treat myself to some goodies. It's been a while since I bought new clothes and had a good look around the shops, so I headed straight to one of my favourite shops Primark. They have some great items in there and I knew I wanted to treat myself to a new bag. I love the gold detail on the bag which is what sold it to me, I also like small bags that fit in just what you need for work, going out. This one is a lovely shape, small enough and light enough to fit in some goodies. I really like to front zip pocket which I possibly could put my car keeps in. This bag was a bargain at just £8 and I love it.
In Matalan I decided to buy these cute cat socks, no new can resist cute new socks. In Primark I always head over to the pajama section and without fail I always end up with a new pair. When I am home relaxing I like to wear comfy clothes and the fact they had dinsosaurs on them sold it straight away. They are £5, I wasn't too keen on the top that matches the bottoms because of the logo but still cute.
This Jurassic World top was £6 and after seeing the film on Monday I decided it was a must, plus I enjoy a geeky t shirt to go with my skinny jeans. The whole outfit looks good together, I may do a outfit post with them all. The jeans I decided on were £10, such a bargain considering I usually buy my one true love jeans from Topshop. I may still buy some on a different pay day because they fit so well but for now I am happy with the fit and style of the Primark jeans. They go really well with all my new shoes, I have been wearing my vans with everything lately so I invested in some boots and flats.
The black dolly shoes I got from Primark too, they were only £4 which is such a bargain. I decided to go for black because I feel they go with all my outfits and I like clothes that are easy to wear and style. I got myself some new hair ties for work, and they were only £1.50.
I ended up in Boots on this shopping trip to buy some shampoo, I decided to buy the weightless coconut water shampoo. it was on offer for £6 and I am super excited to try it out. I will do a blog post to review this soon. I also used my £5 off at The Body shop for my birthday and purchased this mud mask that I was kindly given a sample of a few months ago and loved it.

In Matalan they had a few things in the sale including these boots, they were reduced from £25 to £16 which is a bargain for some decent shoes. I wanted to buy these to go with my black jeans, I was in need of some shoes for going out in. They look perfect casual or dressed up which I like, simple and easy to style. I love the fact they are easy to drive in too, the buckles on the side and the cut outs look great. I really like these boots and I am excited to wear them out with my new jeans, they help me to look a little taller too which is needed. There was so many things I wanted to buy in Primark but I stuck to things I needed and small treats, maybe next pay day!

June PawsomeBox Review.

Each month I have a few favourite blog posts to type up, this is one of them. I get so excited to receive this box in the post and so do my dogs. This morning we sat on the bed together and opened up the box, they wanted to play with everything and eat all the treats right away. I had to try hide the box so that later in the day I could photograph it. they are now playing with the toys in the lounge, they are very excited about them. The doughnut is Bella's favourite and the ball is Juno's.
I love how varied the box is from toys to treats, this month I think is the best box so far. Juniper likes to bath every now and then so the towel will come in handy. The towel would be great to pack in my car for when we go on long muddy, wet walks. My car suffers with paw prints and hair but I would not change that for the world. The best part about the box is that you get to try new products and the treat box gets refilled each month with goodies. I love how the box introduces you to new brands and brands that may suit your dogs diet.
This is my seven month old Border Collie juniper, she is waiting for me to say she can have the toys. The theme of this box is, It's Time For A Walk which for my dogs and me is the best part of the day, rain or shine. Walking my dogs makes me very happy and the dogs love it too, great time to bond and to keep healthy.
This is Isabella who loves the camera and knows if she's good she can have the toys in the box as soon as I have taken the photos. Bella is a four year old Border Collie who loves soft toys, so the toys in this box suit both dogs very well. The products in the box are well worth over £30 each time, it has great variety in it.
Here both dogs are having a good look inside the box before trying to steal the toys before the photo shoot. I really enjoy opening the boxes with my dogs, such a fun experience because each month the theme is different. I like the idea of the easy tie because you can use it in the car to stop your dog bolting as soon as the door opens. The treats are a good way of testing out products and also filling up the treat tin each month for training. Overall a great box that we have enjoyed and thank you to Pawsomebox for such great service too.

Instagram Update!

Juniper / Spy Dogs / Quotes / Blog Mail / Reading / day out / toys / clean house /
Gone Girl / Birthday gifts / Byron Burger / Flowers / Zoo / Afternoon tea / Working  hard.

Its been a while since I updated on here with my Instagram images, its lovely to look back on my photographs on there. I am a huge fan of Instagram and update mine at least once a day with photographs of my dogs, blog things and just anything I want to share on there. I add in a few quotes every now and then and show you things I will be blogging about. Over May it was my birthday and I took photos of my beautiful flowers and days out.

I am reading The Girl On The Train at the minute and really enjoying it, I want to do a little review of it when i'm done so keep an eye out for that. I have been spring cleaning my house over May and June to keep it all fresh, a clean house means I can think straight and feel better. I went out for afternoon tea for my birthday which was lovely and I received so many lovely gifts from family and friends. Turning 24 felt weird, I do feel like I should feel like an adult but I don't. I need to do more things like go on holidays and travel to the places I have always wanted to see. I do not want to reach 30 without ticking off at least a few things. I went to the zoo with two of the most important people ever, it was a lovely day. The zoo is the place I feel happiest, which is odd but I just really enjoy it.

Days out with my dogs are the best, I need to print out a few pictures soon to put in photo frames I got for my birthday. I am obsessed with my dogs but they are a huge part of my life and I enjoy them. i want to give them the best life, I think this also stems from having to give away my Rottweiler when I was younger I promised I would never let down another dog. ( even though it was not my choice as a 15 year old moving to England with my family)

I am obsessed with Byron burger, we decided to drive to Liverpool on my birthday to have a day out and eat there.

Hope you have a lovely day!

Nars All Day Luminous Foundation.

I have been on the hunt for a foundation that lasts all day at work and looks smooth on the skin. I have tried so many foundations over the last seven years without finding ones that I stick with. So I decided to spend a little more on something I have been wanting to try for a while, Nars has been a brand I have had on my wish list for years. I am so pleased that I decided to splurge a little and try the new Nars foundation.

I apply the foundation with my finger tips which is new to me since buying make up brushes. Using your finger tips warm the product so that it is easier to blend, I can confirm it is easier to do it this way. the product warms up and becomes smooth to apply. I got the shade Mont Blanc and the lady at the counter was very helpful. I had no idea what shade I was looking for and she helped me decide very quickly. One thing I love about this foundation is that it lasts a long time because you only need a small amount to cover the skin. It has a medium coverage which is what I look for in foundations. I love how smooth and silky the finish feels and looks. It lasts around 10 hours during work which is important for me, last thing I would want is for it to slide of my face a few hours into work.

I use a small amount on sections of my face, starting with one side then moving on to the other. I love the light weight feel to the foundation, it makes the skin look natural. It is the perfect match to my skin which is what I struggle with when I buy drugstore foundations. This foundation has lasted 3 months so far with more to use. So spending more helps in the long run too, now I know my shade I can order it online.

This Nars foundation comes in 20 shades which is amazing, it also means that I would recommend that you go to a Nars counter to get colour matched. This foundation has changed my everyday make up for the better, it is more work because of having to use my fingers to blend in but it is so worth it.

I have been loving this foundation, have you tried this?

NeoGlow Earphones.

This is a different post for me, I usually review beauty products rather than gadgets. As you may know I only blog about products I really enjoy myself and things I believe in to show you. I want to be able to join the gym again this year, I tend to get into the gym and the best thing to have is earphones and gym kits to motivate you. I like to take ear phones around with me in my hand bag too, they are useful to have when you are traveling or relaxing. what drew me to the earphones is that they light up to the beat of your music. I am a sucker for things like this, I love the colour of them too. Its something different and fun to use when listening to your favourite music.
NeoGlow Earphones £19.95*

The most important thing about earphones is for them to work and feel comfortable to wear. I can confirm that these earphones have passed that test, they are comfy to wear and work well. The sound quality is great and they fit in your bag for traveling.
They are compatible with most phones which is useful to know, they have replaced my apple ones for now in my hand bag. Not only do they look fun but they work well too which is a bonus, I have been loving using these. The fact that they light up when you are playing music is fun.

What do you think of these ear phones?

Orla Kiely Candle Collection.

I feel very lucky to be able to work with a brand like Orla kiely because of how beautiful the products are. You may spot the beautiful print first when it comes to the products, the quality of them are stunning. I am a huge candle fan and I only like certain scents and designs when it comes to them. This one stands out from all the rest, its a great addition for the Summer. It looks stunning on my fire place and the scent is strong yet perfect. I am not a huge lemon fan but when it comes to this candle I could be from now on. Rob adores this candle and he wanted to light it straight away, but as we know being bloggers we wait to use anything until its photographed right?
Now that I have the images, I have been able to burn small amounts of this candle. I want it to last for the Summer. It leaves a beautiful lemon, mint and lavender scent to the room. sweet yet so fresh which is great, the design on the glass works so well with the white walls and furniture in my house. Now that I have been able to try this one, I have my finger on the button to buy a different scent from the collection. It would make the perfect gift too, they come in a box designed just like the candle and a coaster to pop the candle on.
£25*
The perfect candle to burn on the long Summer nights and after you blow it out the scent stays in the room for ages. I love this candle, I love the design because its different and stands out in a room. Its nice and bright yet never looks out of place, you could put this in any room and it would look great. Over on the website you can see all the other designs here.

June Wish List 2015.

One / Two / Three / Four / Five /
Six / Seven / Eight

Looking back on my blog posts I noticed I have not done a wish list in a while, so today I wanted to share with you what I wish to purchase over the next few months. I am looking into decorating my office soon with some white furniture from Ikea and a few prints to go on the wall. I am in desperate need of some storage for my beauty products and other bits. I may purchase this set of draws to store in all my beauty products, this particular one is popular with the bloggers. The reason I am going for all white is because our house is white in all the rooms so I'm wanting to keep it fresh and bright. I will add colour with the other bits such as this pineapple light from Urban Outfitters, I noticed this over on Loulabeths blog and instantly fell in love with it. I want my office to be a space I can relax and blog, I want it to be a space I can feel creative in. This panda print would look good on the wall, it is something close to my heart too because of my blog design.

I am in serious need of some new jeans, Topshop are my go to jeans. They look and fit the best so its worth spending that bit more to feel comfortable in them. Nothing worse than feeling awful in jeans, you can get some really uncomfortable fitting ones. Topshop jeans have been a huge statement in my wardrobe for many years now.

I say this all the time, I need more candles. I actually do this time because I only have two left. I would like to get some summery ones in for the lounge, this watermelon one looks fab. I am always on the hunt for a new phone case, this one from Cath Kidston looks gorgeous.
How could we forget to talk about the new Vans, the only pair I really like are the Winnie The Pooh design. I'm not a huge Disney fan when it comes to things like this but I do love the design on these ones.

what do you have on your wish list?

May favourites 2015.

May is my favourite month due to the fact it is my birthday month. I always tend to enjoy May and it ends up being a great month for me. I had an amazing birthday, spending time with the loves of my life in my week off. I loved going to a cute tea room with my mom and driving to Liverpool on my birthday with Rob. I enjoyed spending quality time with my dogs who as you can tell mean the world to me, I also enjoy my job a lot so things are looking up. So many things I have been loving in May so I thought I would show you a handful of the best.
The product that has stood out for me and changed my everyday make up is the new Nars foundation. I purchased this back in April and I have been enjoying using it most days. I wanted a foundation that would last an 8 hour shift, I can confirm this does the job. I love how it feels on the skin, weightless and soft. I love the glow it gives my skin too which is always a bonus. I will do a full review on this very soon for you. I love buying mugs which is a weird thing to admit, I love to have my own mugs in the house. This border collie one is very special to me in obvious ways really, I just love the collie on it. I got this at the cute cafe when I had afternoon tea. The mojito range from the Body Shop smells like a beautiful holiday drinking a yummy cocktail. I have been loving using these two products, the scent is just heaven. The body splash is something fun to use after a bath and it keeps you smelling great. I have been loving using the green tea range in my bath too, leaves me feeling super relaxed.

Appletini is a candle I purchased back in April, I have been loving using it. It leaves the whole room smelling gorgeous and its such a lovely sweet yet not sickly smell. It lasts for ages too which is awesome for a £3 candle. I need to pick up some more of these soon, I want to try the watermelon one next. In May I made a big Avon order as a treat and I picked up this gorgeous summery colour, called fire cracker. It has a gel finish which I love and because of the finish it lasts ages. I am in love with the colour of this nail polish, its all I have been wearing in May.

Ted Baker launched some new products, read this review here for more information on the mint range. I love the scent of this body spray, it is different to anything I have ever smelt, a gorgeous sweet vanilla yet super fresh. This came in a gorgeous mint wash bag along with a few more products which are fab.

In May I discovered some new skin care products and both have changed my skin for the better. No 7 is a brand I tend to stay away from in Boots for no reason at all but this changed when I decided to use a voucher for £5 off in Boots. I picked up this cleansing balm and it removes all my make up, gently cleansing my skin. This product will stay in my skin care routine for many more months to come. Its gentle on my skin and leaves my skin feeling very clean and it soon replaced my cleanse and polish. Along side this I have been loving this face scrub, its harsh yet so gentle on my skin. It removes any unwanted dry skin working on the pores. I purchased this product from Avon, I have been loving using it to keep my skin looking fresh and soft for the Summer. I may need to start a YouTube soon so I can talk all about my favourites in detail?

More Favourites:

  • my border collies
  • my new job!

PawsomeBox May 2015.

This is one of my favourite blog posts to do and to get my dogs involved too. They both really enjoy this box, now that I have two nothing goes unused. Both dogs are running around my sofa with the mouse toy as I type this up. I enjoy opening up this box with them, they get so excited and they try steal the toys out of it before I can get some pictures for my blog.
This months box is all about being Happy, which I love because nothing makes me more happy than seeing my dogs play and coming home to their smiling faces. So do what makes you happy which is what my dogs do for me, they are gorgeous. In this box there is a a good mixture of toys and treats. PawsomeBox is a company I love to support, I love what they do and its a great box to receive in the post.

In this box you get a water bottle, plush toy, biogance wipes, Nutri pockets by Gimdogs, rope toy and Treats and snacks from animal farm. I love the plush toys that come in the pawsomebox, Bella is a huge fan of cuddly toys so this makes her very happy. Juniper loves the rope toys so this box works very well for both of them. The bacon and banana treats have gone down a treat, its something different for them too.
 My beautiful girls.
Juniper taking a good look around what is in the box, she loves the little mouse toy. I love this box because it has a good amount of treats and toys in it. The treats go down well when we do training because Juno is now 7 months old. Shes doing really well with her training, shes brilliant on the lead too. Overall a great monthly box from Pawsome,* its one of my favourite reviews to do. Two hours later and my dogs are still playing with the mouse toy, squeaking it over and over again.
