Prepping For The New Year Pamper Routine.

 There is nothing better than starting a new year but there can be things that can set your anxiety levels flying like how much you spent in December and how to get rid of all that food you ate etc etc etc. You must remember Christmas is all about having fun and you can start a whole new months fresh with new goals and ideas. I love to have a pamper session with all my favourite products to cheer me up and set me off for the week ahead. There is no better time to do it than just before the new year. 

 Sanctuary very kindly sent me this over the Christmas period and I have saved it to use for the new year. I am obsessed with the scent of the products and they work a treat for when you need a pamper. I love using the body polish with the mitten to scrub my skin ready to put on fake tan or just to feel refreshed. 

The cleansing body wash is a big favourite of mine, it leaves your skin feeling polished and clean smelling amazing. Sanctuary do one of the best products for a real good pamper you feel like you have used something really special every single time. It is affordable and you can pick it up from your local Boots, which is handy when you feel like a treat.

I am all about candles in the house, this candle I have been after for ages. It sits perfectly next to my bed ready for when I want to read a book after my bath. It is such a simple design yet the candle fits in really well in the bedroom. All this comes in a pretty cosmetic bag, useful when you stay away from home. 

I am obsessed with minis so this little kit is perfect to get you all set for New year!

Two Books To Read In The New Year.


 I've managed to drag myself out of my comfy dressing gown to my desk in my office to type up some blog posts. I don't know about you but I am looking forward to a new year, new start. It is that time of year now where you think about your goals and what you want to do in the new year. I have been reading two books that I am obsessed with and I wanted to share them with you. They are already a big hit in the blogging world, I see them all over Twitter but I wanted to make a blog post about them to show how special they are.
The first book I wanted to share with you is Bloom by Estee Lalonde who you will already recognise as a girl boss, influential, beauty, all round amazing women. I am personally a big fan of her content on YouTube and her vlogs make me laugh and smile. I was excited to see that she was bringing out a book, which I soon added to my amazon basket. 
 The first thing you notice is the stunning photographs, I really appreciate a book with this. It feels as though you can picture what she is talking about and you feel as though you get to know her on a much deeper level. I love that she did this for us to read, in each chapter you learn more.  She offers her tips on surviving life, finding your style and getting to know who you really are.
 There are so many chapters in this book, from beauty to food. She doesn't leave anything hidden in the book, you really get to know her and her loves, upbringing and life.She is a powerful women in the beauty industry and more. What an amazing women to look up to, one hell of a girl boss. If you haven't already got this book you need it in your life, even if you are new to YouTube or Estee. 

In this book you get to know more about Hygge which is everything from the art of creating intimacy, cosiness of the soul to taking pleasure in the presence of soothing things. I am all about my surroundings, they really control my mind set. If my house is messy, so is my mind. I feel that your space really changes how you feel and see things which is why i was interested in this book. 

You know the feeling when you are cuddled up on the sofa with your boyfriend or a loved one, going out with a friend you adore. Now that is what Hygge is all about. I am all about the small things that make you happy, so this book was an exciting Christmas gift. In 2017 i want it to be all about those moments of happiness from the smallest things. When someone makes you smile for the smallest comment or being cuddled up in bed with my dogs on a cold morning like today.

I am excited to finish this book and really take it all in this new year. It is a great gift for a friend or to yourself. 2017 is all about peace for me, I want to become myself again and really enjoy life. It really is the smallest things in life that make me happy and I want more of those moments.

The pictures inside this book is home goals, all I want is to make my surroundings happy and to feel content. I feel as though I am too harsh on myself, my brain tells me off all the time. 2017 is about feeling a lot more relaxed and I hope this book guides me there.

How To Be The Best You.. / BodyForm Challenge.


BodyForm* very kindly sent over a challenge yourself goodie bag filled with things to make me challenge myself this year. Inside the goodie bag I found a selfie stick, remote, gym top, water bottle, Pro slim liners and a Ticket Master gift card. The gift card was so un expected so thank you to BodyForm. I have to admit going to gigs as a teenager was my favourite thing to do, now that I am 25 I find myself in the same routine each day. So it will be great to challenge myself to go out and have some fun. 

Having confidence to do something fun and exciting when you are on your period is hard work, you feel gross, down and moody right? Well BodyForm have set up a challenge to make you feel confident when you feel like this. Challenging you to go to the gym, go to a gig, festival and still feel as confident as you would normally. BodyForm have challenged me to go to a gig and document it, having fun and helping me along with my confidence to say yes!

It is normal to feel less motivated during your time of the month but having the confidence with the ProLiners will help you to take on any challenge. So my challenge to myself is to go to the gym three times a week without any hold backs in time to feel confident watching Little Mix next year. The Little Mix concert is my goal date to feel more confident in myself and to wear something incredible. I feel like a ball of mess right now but having this to look forward to is really helping my confidence.

I am all set to start my new year, new me in the gym with my work out top and my personalised water bottle. My goal is to feel confident watching Little Mix without any worries in my head, I want it to be a night to remember. I am obsessed with their new album and when I feel stressed or worried I put my ear phones in and put the volume up high. I can guarantee you I feel much better after. So me and my best friend will have a great night watching them live, thanks to BodyForm.
 Starting a new year can be exciting and I am determined to make this my year of feeling me again with the help from BodyFrom. I cannot thank them enough for giving me a goal and something to look forward to. My aim is to feel healthy again and look after my appearance. I want to smile more and have a good time without any anxiety taking over my mind during any fun experiences. I feel empowered already and I am excited for what will happen in 2017. 

2017 will be about saying yes to things because usually I am too afraid of new things, going out of my concert zone. 2017 will be me challenging myself to be a new fresh me, saying YES to things that scare me. I will be documenting my progress at the gym on my blog with the help from BodyForm so there will be lots of updates. I have to admit I have down days and I want to stop those with the help of the gym, even when I feel the lowest. Keep an eye out for my new blog post on my experience at the gym coming soon.

My Christmas Tree 2016.


 This is my favourite Christmas tree we have ever done, its full of things that I adore. Wildlife had to be a theme in it this year, I am obsessed with the theme as you may have seen in my bedroom posts. Red and gold was a theme from the start, I wanted it to be subtle yet look incredible when the lights are shining bright. I sit in my lounge feeling all happy and festive watching films with the tree centre stage in my bay windows. I picked up the candles From Asda as well as all my decorations this year. 




This makes me so happy to share on my blog, I feel really proud of our tree this year. It looks amazing in the window and I feel really happy sat cuddling my dogs and Rob watching films waiting for Santa paws to come and give my dogs their presents. I adore all the wooden hints in the tree, the stars and christmas tree ornaments are awesome. I picked them up from Asda for around £2 each. I adore the woodland creates that are in the tree, £2 from Asda and our little birds are from last years tree.

Asda was amazing this year, we picked up the tree and all the ornaments for short of £70 which is amazing. We started all over again with this tree, last year we moved house and I took all our stuff to the skip in a big clear out. I am pleased we started again because I am in love with this design. Wood, red ribbons and little creates made the tree our perfect tree.

The star garland was from Asda too, I think it was £5 which is a bargain and it looks great above the tree. The red ribbons really completed the tree for me, I picked them up for  £1 per pack. Pound land and Pound Stretcher have amazing decorations in this year. Wilkos have some really cute things in too. 

I am super excited to get all my presents under the tree and by all most likely all for my dogs...

Selfridges Beauty Advent Calendar 2016.


 There is nothing better than opening up an advent calendar on the run up to Christmas, this year I was lucky enough to have a beauty one. I have a chocolate one at work at this one for home which is so exciting, I have the best boyfriend surprising me with this. I mentioned to Rob that I would really love a beauty one this year and one arrived a few days later and to my surprise it was a Selfridges one. This has been such an exciting calendar to open, so many products I have been meaning to try out in 2016. 
 It is such a beautiful calendar sitting under my Christmas tree waiting for me to open it each morning. There are so many beautiful products so far that I am so excited to use this December, such as this Molton Brown body wash. The Eve Lom cleanser has been on my wish list for a while now, this is such a decent size too. My skin will love me in 2017 with all the stunning new products. 
 Eylure is a great brand to find in this beauty advent calendar and a great one to start with. I will be wearing them for my Christmas party on Saturday. I wish this advent calendar lasted all year round, imagine opening this all year round and feeling excited to test out more beauty things. 
 Day 3 was my favourite of all the products due to opening to find this beauty in there, I have been after one for ages. It is super adorable and cute the size it comes in, ready for travel and easy to keep safe in your bathroom pamper bag/shelf. My skin will love me now that I have one of these, so cool that it has this in it. Bring on my skin care routines for 2017!

The Better Than Sex mascara from Too Faced has been on my wish list for a while now too and I am so excited to test out this mini before I buy the larger version. My make up this December will be amazing with all the new goodies to test out. I will be wearing them all for my Christmas party/ day this year. Blotterazzi beauty blender was a great one to find in the calendar to make my foundation look spot on this year. 

One product I am so excited to test out is the Rodial bee venom cleansing balm, you pop some on your face when it is dry and use a muslin cloth to remove it with warm water. So my 2017 beauty looks and skin care will be a great one, all down to this amazing calendar. A massive thank you to my boyfriend for this gift, it has made my December very special.

The most exciting thing is, I still have 11 days left to open...

LoveLily - My New Favourite Fragrance.

 I love Accessorise for little bits and bobs, their design work is amazing on packaging and I've noticed a few bags I love in there too. I was kindly sent this fragrance to test out and I can confirm it is just perfect for me. I am a huge sweet perfume scent lover and this just hits the right notes for me. I have a big perfume collection that I should probably show you one day, so I am pleased to add this to it. 
 First impressions are important so lets start with the packaging, it is clean and unique. I am so pleased with the bottle, it is simple yet effective which I like. The colour doesn't over power the bottle and I adore the flower in the lid. I think is is just perfect for the Spring time but I must be honest this is a me scent so I will wear it now. The bottle looks perfect on my dresser and its a stunning shape. The box itself is bright but this just reminds me of Accessorise*, I adore the prints they do. 

I feel this would make a great Christmas present this year, the bottle is stunning. My mom commented on it saying that she adores it too. I'm sat here smelling the bottle and its just perfection, it has notes of raspberry, orange, jasmine and sweet vanilla. Anyone that knows me, knows I am a massive fan of raspberry scents or strawberry so this is right up my street.

This is a 75ml bottle and it looks outstanding on my dressing table, I am tempted to go out and buy a couple more for Christmas presents this year. I know a couple people who would love this scent. I am loving pink at the minute and this stands out in my dressing room, I would love to add in more pink to my rooms so this would look fab.

Setting Goals For 2017/ My 5 Goals.

 For me there is nothing better than starting a new year with new goals set out. I want 2017 to be the best year yet, traveling and being the best I can be. I want it to be full of happiness, I have learnt a lot in 2016 and starting 2017 with a great mindset. I wanted to share with you some of my goals and how to set some serious goals for 2017.
Dream Big!

1. I know its only a month away till Christmas eve today but I wanted to reflect on some goals I have achieved and how I would want to progress into 2017. In 2016 I achieved a few blog goals and I want to continue my adventure with my little space on the internet. I enjoy sitting down and typing away on my blog, from lifestyle posts to beauty. I would like to do more beauty content moving forward into 2017, I feel there is so much I can learn and watch on YouTube to really get into make up. Cosmopolitan magazine awards this year really made me feel I can do this if I put my mind to it, I felt amazing on the night, meeting new people and feeling inspired. Bring on 2017 for more content and feeling great about blogging. It is something I adore and I want to work so hard on my space on the internet. 
2.Recently I've been watching This Time Next Year and it made me think what I would like to achieve by this time next year personally. I have been reading Em Sheldon blog this year and she is a huge inspiration, I want to follow her into my own gym goals and to be the best version of myself, happy and healthy. She inspires me to want to work out, eat healthy yet have a balanced lifestyle. By this time next year I want to feel confident in my own body, i want to feel healthy and have a set work out routine in place. I feel I want to work on my legs and tummy to really push myself to feel happy in what I wear.

3.This year I have let people make me feel useless, unhappy and at points hate myself. In 2017 I won't let this happen, I feel I have grown as a person this year and I've learnt to stand up for myself. I feel it is important to be kind, helpful, think about others yet still look out for yourself. If people have something negative to say about you then let them be that person, it will only make them look bad. So no more negativity and I would love to meet new people and make more blogger friends.

4.Helping charity is a big part of my goals for 2017, I help out with charity in work but I would love to do more for animals in 2017. I feel it would really make a difference if I can make one or two dogs happy because I can't help them all, I wish I could. i would like to volunteer and raise money for animal shelters in 2017, I want to make a difference to more animals lives in 2017.

5.Personaly I would just love to enjoy 2017, there is so much on social media these days that are goals but for me I've backed away from the idea of perfect to my perfect. This year I have really enjoyed my own little family, I adore my boyfriend and he treats me like a princess. I am obsessed with my dogs and I would love to go on a family holiday together next year. My mental health is a priority and I feel so much more confident in myself to really push myself to do more. I enjoy movie days with my family and I just want to enjoy having them around me. 2017 is about my gorgeous dogs and my boyfriend, we are a team.

Currently Loving In November.


 This month has been a month of finding new favourites and a couple old ones popping back into my routine. I wanted to share with you some of my new favourites this month, from the Rimmel lipstick to the new hair care products in my life. November is all about the cosy nights, pamper sessions and hot chocolates, so using all my favourite products feels great. My new obsession for concealer has to be the Kick Ass one from Soap and Glory, I purchased this around two months ago now and I use it everyday. It hides my tired dark circles under my eyes and I will need that coming into the Christmas period at work. The one heck of a blot primer has to be one of my all time favourites, this one will make a comeback when I run out of this one. It helps my foundation to glide on and my skin looks flawless.
 Christmas at The Body Shop has to be one of my favourite things about this time of year. They smash it when it comes to Christmas and I am a huge fan of them all year round too, the Christmas range is dreamy. I have the Vanilla Chai* range and at first I was like, lets give this a go but I am in love with this scent. Its perfect for this time of year and it smells like heaven. When you apply the hand cream, it sinks in quickly and leaves your hands feeling soft. I keep this in my bag at at all times, it even came with me to London this month. Now this is an exciting new product from Rimmel, they are my go to brand for my make up from the drugstore. I am so excited about the new The Only Matte Lipstick range due to the fact they glide on like a dream. Non drying, long lasting, velvet matte lip that feels light to wear and the colours are fantastic. I have number 610 in the shade High Flyer which for me is my perfect go to lipstick, it goes with so many make up looks. I can wear a cat eye with it or have my every day make up and to vamp it up I use this shade. I can confirm this has to be my favourite drugstore lipstick of all time.....
OGX has been a brand I have been meaning to try out for a long time, I managed to try out some of the products from my Cosmo Magazine awards goodie bag. I am in love with the hair care due to the fact my scalp feels great. Usually when I try out a new hair product my scalp feels on fire but this time it feels soothed and great. My hair feels so much better, knot free and soft. I love the coconut range due to it smelling amazing and leaving my scalp feeling amazing, it feels so nice to not have a sore scalp. 

I am currently obsessed with the white glo toothpaste, it leaves my teeth feeling extra clean and white. I would love to get my teeth whitened soon but this is a great product to help the process along. My teeth are a big part of my beauty routine as they should be so I enjoy trying out new whitening products. This one has been a great one and safe to use everyday.

Cosmopolitan Influencers awards was a huge part of this month for me, I just wanted to thank you again for all your support. I feel so proud of my little space on the internet, I have met some amazing people who inspire me and I am excited for the future of this blog. Read more here!! This moves on to my new purchases from TKMAXX, the cute note pads that say create,ideas and write it on them. I have been taking notes and making plans for my blog in them.

I wanted to mention a tv show I have been loving, you need to watch The Missing. It is incredible and one of the best things on tv in a while. Every single episode I just want to know what happens next!!

Christmas Gift Guide For Her 2016.

I am currently so excited for Christmas this year, in our new home and I am full on ready to put up the Christmas tree. I will wait until the first of December to put the tree up, this is a tradition in my family on my moms birthday. I thought I would do a gift guide today as I was in the mood to have a mooch around the internet to see what I could find to make a great gift guide. Fleur De Force got me in the spirit of gift guides today as I wait for hers to go live today, she does the best gift guides every year.


So lets start with the magnitone which has been on the market for a while now and on my wish list. It gently deep cleanses the skin leaving it feeling clean and toned, beautiful conditioning the skin. This is a must in a beauty bloggers kit, I would love this in my skin care this Christmas. It is something I know my mom would love too, she is a big fan of make up and skin care. It comes in different designs and they do one for men too. 


I think the Print case is a great idea this Christmas as you can take lots of pictures to print out to keep forever. I am a massive fan of printing out pictures so that they don't get lost on my phone, I love to put them around my house to remind me of great memories. I tend to print a lot of pictures of my pets and stick them on my mirrors or pop them around my office. This gadget is a cute one and I think it would make a great present.

Now the Olympus pen is a must have this year, I am currently debating on getting one. My Dslr and iPhone do a great job for my blog already so its a wish list item at the moment. If you know a keen photographer, blogger who wants to start a collection of cameras or after their first camera this is a great one. It has a flip out screen and takes incredible pictures, it allows you to change up the lenses too without being bulky. The camera has built in wifi which would be fantastic on the go for bloggers.

Bloom by Estee lalonde is a fantastic read, I recently purchased this book and I cannot put it down. She is inspiring and a blogger I have looked up to for a long time now. The book itself is raw, real and beautiful, the pictures are stunning. She is a great role model and this book would be a great one to add to your gift giving this year.

I feel like anything comfy, cosy this Christmas is a winner, look at those snow leopard slippers from Topshop. I am a big fan of new pjs on Christmas eve and adding slippers to this gift guide meant extra comfort on Christmas morning.

Autumn Fun With My Border Collies.


I love to capture moments like these, moments I can treasure for the rest of my life. I enjoy documenting days like this for my blog so that I can look back and feel happy. As you may know my dogs mean the world to me and they never sit still for photos like this. So this was a true moment to capture, very quickly. 


I decided to bring along my Dslr and see if we could capture some beautiful pictures to print of our dogs. I never expected for them to sit still with me on a bench, 20 seconds later they decided they wanted to play again. In years to come I would love to show my children my dogs and how much I adored them.

Isabella will turn six next month, I was there the day she was born. We have a very special bond and she is my life. I owe my happiness to this little monkey, she brightens up the dullest day. Both my dogs are my best friends, a huge part of my family. From a very young age we have had border collies in our family, I am literally obsessed with this breed. 


Miss Juniper Berry!


Juniper is the youngest one at the small age of 2, she is full of beans and always on the go. She is a little rocket when you let her off the lead, you have to keep an eye on this one at all times. She enjoys swimming in the water, even when we say no its too cold. Her cheekiness melts my heart every single day and to capture a moment like this is everything. 

I owe my happiness to my little family, today was a magical day in the Autumn leaves. I love simple days like this, it brings joy to my life. I will treasure the pictures of us for many years to come, I love how full of life the border collies are. They give you unconditional love, cuddles, kisses and listen to what you need. Sometimes they are too cleaver for their own good, for example Juno can open the freezer door. 

Today was a happy day and I am so pleased we captured it. I hope you enjoyed my post and I will see you again tomorrow with some more content.
