LoveLily - My New Favourite Fragrance.

 I love Accessorise for little bits and bobs, their design work is amazing on packaging and I've noticed a few bags I love in there too. I was kindly sent this fragrance to test out and I can confirm it is just perfect for me. I am a huge sweet perfume scent lover and this just hits the right notes for me. I have a big perfume collection that I should probably show you one day, so I am pleased to add this to it. 
 First impressions are important so lets start with the packaging, it is clean and unique. I am so pleased with the bottle, it is simple yet effective which I like. The colour doesn't over power the bottle and I adore the flower in the lid. I think is is just perfect for the Spring time but I must be honest this is a me scent so I will wear it now. The bottle looks perfect on my dresser and its a stunning shape. The box itself is bright but this just reminds me of Accessorise*, I adore the prints they do. 

I feel this would make a great Christmas present this year, the bottle is stunning. My mom commented on it saying that she adores it too. I'm sat here smelling the bottle and its just perfection, it has notes of raspberry, orange, jasmine and sweet vanilla. Anyone that knows me, knows I am a massive fan of raspberry scents or strawberry so this is right up my street.

This is a 75ml bottle and it looks outstanding on my dressing table, I am tempted to go out and buy a couple more for Christmas presents this year. I know a couple people who would love this scent. I am loving pink at the minute and this stands out in my dressing room, I would love to add in more pink to my rooms so this would look fab.

Setting Goals For 2017/ My 5 Goals.

 For me there is nothing better than starting a new year with new goals set out. I want 2017 to be the best year yet, traveling and being the best I can be. I want it to be full of happiness, I have learnt a lot in 2016 and starting 2017 with a great mindset. I wanted to share with you some of my goals and how to set some serious goals for 2017.
Dream Big!

1. I know its only a month away till Christmas eve today but I wanted to reflect on some goals I have achieved and how I would want to progress into 2017. In 2016 I achieved a few blog goals and I want to continue my adventure with my little space on the internet. I enjoy sitting down and typing away on my blog, from lifestyle posts to beauty. I would like to do more beauty content moving forward into 2017, I feel there is so much I can learn and watch on YouTube to really get into make up. Cosmopolitan magazine awards this year really made me feel I can do this if I put my mind to it, I felt amazing on the night, meeting new people and feeling inspired. Bring on 2017 for more content and feeling great about blogging. It is something I adore and I want to work so hard on my space on the internet. 
2.Recently I've been watching This Time Next Year and it made me think what I would like to achieve by this time next year personally. I have been reading Em Sheldon blog this year and she is a huge inspiration, I want to follow her into my own gym goals and to be the best version of myself, happy and healthy. She inspires me to want to work out, eat healthy yet have a balanced lifestyle. By this time next year I want to feel confident in my own body, i want to feel healthy and have a set work out routine in place. I feel I want to work on my legs and tummy to really push myself to feel happy in what I wear.

3.This year I have let people make me feel useless, unhappy and at points hate myself. In 2017 I won't let this happen, I feel I have grown as a person this year and I've learnt to stand up for myself. I feel it is important to be kind, helpful, think about others yet still look out for yourself. If people have something negative to say about you then let them be that person, it will only make them look bad. So no more negativity and I would love to meet new people and make more blogger friends.

4.Helping charity is a big part of my goals for 2017, I help out with charity in work but I would love to do more for animals in 2017. I feel it would really make a difference if I can make one or two dogs happy because I can't help them all, I wish I could. i would like to volunteer and raise money for animal shelters in 2017, I want to make a difference to more animals lives in 2017.

5.Personaly I would just love to enjoy 2017, there is so much on social media these days that are goals but for me I've backed away from the idea of perfect to my perfect. This year I have really enjoyed my own little family, I adore my boyfriend and he treats me like a princess. I am obsessed with my dogs and I would love to go on a family holiday together next year. My mental health is a priority and I feel so much more confident in myself to really push myself to do more. I enjoy movie days with my family and I just want to enjoy having them around me. 2017 is about my gorgeous dogs and my boyfriend, we are a team.

Currently Loving In November.


 This month has been a month of finding new favourites and a couple old ones popping back into my routine. I wanted to share with you some of my new favourites this month, from the Rimmel lipstick to the new hair care products in my life. November is all about the cosy nights, pamper sessions and hot chocolates, so using all my favourite products feels great. My new obsession for concealer has to be the Kick Ass one from Soap and Glory, I purchased this around two months ago now and I use it everyday. It hides my tired dark circles under my eyes and I will need that coming into the Christmas period at work. The one heck of a blot primer has to be one of my all time favourites, this one will make a comeback when I run out of this one. It helps my foundation to glide on and my skin looks flawless.
 Christmas at The Body Shop has to be one of my favourite things about this time of year. They smash it when it comes to Christmas and I am a huge fan of them all year round too, the Christmas range is dreamy. I have the Vanilla Chai* range and at first I was like, lets give this a go but I am in love with this scent. Its perfect for this time of year and it smells like heaven. When you apply the hand cream, it sinks in quickly and leaves your hands feeling soft. I keep this in my bag at at all times, it even came with me to London this month. Now this is an exciting new product from Rimmel, they are my go to brand for my make up from the drugstore. I am so excited about the new The Only Matte Lipstick range due to the fact they glide on like a dream. Non drying, long lasting, velvet matte lip that feels light to wear and the colours are fantastic. I have number 610 in the shade High Flyer which for me is my perfect go to lipstick, it goes with so many make up looks. I can wear a cat eye with it or have my every day make up and to vamp it up I use this shade. I can confirm this has to be my favourite drugstore lipstick of all time.....
OGX has been a brand I have been meaning to try out for a long time, I managed to try out some of the products from my Cosmo Magazine awards goodie bag. I am in love with the hair care due to the fact my scalp feels great. Usually when I try out a new hair product my scalp feels on fire but this time it feels soothed and great. My hair feels so much better, knot free and soft. I love the coconut range due to it smelling amazing and leaving my scalp feeling amazing, it feels so nice to not have a sore scalp. 

I am currently obsessed with the white glo toothpaste, it leaves my teeth feeling extra clean and white. I would love to get my teeth whitened soon but this is a great product to help the process along. My teeth are a big part of my beauty routine as they should be so I enjoy trying out new whitening products. This one has been a great one and safe to use everyday.

Cosmopolitan Influencers awards was a huge part of this month for me, I just wanted to thank you again for all your support. I feel so proud of my little space on the internet, I have met some amazing people who inspire me and I am excited for the future of this blog. Read more here!! This moves on to my new purchases from TKMAXX, the cute note pads that say create,ideas and write it on them. I have been taking notes and making plans for my blog in them.

I wanted to mention a tv show I have been loving, you need to watch The Missing. It is incredible and one of the best things on tv in a while. Every single episode I just want to know what happens next!!

Christmas Gift Guide For Her 2016.

I am currently so excited for Christmas this year, in our new home and I am full on ready to put up the Christmas tree. I will wait until the first of December to put the tree up, this is a tradition in my family on my moms birthday. I thought I would do a gift guide today as I was in the mood to have a mooch around the internet to see what I could find to make a great gift guide. Fleur De Force got me in the spirit of gift guides today as I wait for hers to go live today, she does the best gift guides every year.


So lets start with the magnitone which has been on the market for a while now and on my wish list. It gently deep cleanses the skin leaving it feeling clean and toned, beautiful conditioning the skin. This is a must in a beauty bloggers kit, I would love this in my skin care this Christmas. It is something I know my mom would love too, she is a big fan of make up and skin care. It comes in different designs and they do one for men too. 


I think the Print case is a great idea this Christmas as you can take lots of pictures to print out to keep forever. I am a massive fan of printing out pictures so that they don't get lost on my phone, I love to put them around my house to remind me of great memories. I tend to print a lot of pictures of my pets and stick them on my mirrors or pop them around my office. This gadget is a cute one and I think it would make a great present.

Now the Olympus pen is a must have this year, I am currently debating on getting one. My Dslr and iPhone do a great job for my blog already so its a wish list item at the moment. If you know a keen photographer, blogger who wants to start a collection of cameras or after their first camera this is a great one. It has a flip out screen and takes incredible pictures, it allows you to change up the lenses too without being bulky. The camera has built in wifi which would be fantastic on the go for bloggers.

Bloom by Estee lalonde is a fantastic read, I recently purchased this book and I cannot put it down. She is inspiring and a blogger I have looked up to for a long time now. The book itself is raw, real and beautiful, the pictures are stunning. She is a great role model and this book would be a great one to add to your gift giving this year.

I feel like anything comfy, cosy this Christmas is a winner, look at those snow leopard slippers from Topshop. I am a big fan of new pjs on Christmas eve and adding slippers to this gift guide meant extra comfort on Christmas morning.

Autumn Fun With My Border Collies.


I love to capture moments like these, moments I can treasure for the rest of my life. I enjoy documenting days like this for my blog so that I can look back and feel happy. As you may know my dogs mean the world to me and they never sit still for photos like this. So this was a true moment to capture, very quickly. 


I decided to bring along my Dslr and see if we could capture some beautiful pictures to print of our dogs. I never expected for them to sit still with me on a bench, 20 seconds later they decided they wanted to play again. In years to come I would love to show my children my dogs and how much I adored them.

Isabella will turn six next month, I was there the day she was born. We have a very special bond and she is my life. I owe my happiness to this little monkey, she brightens up the dullest day. Both my dogs are my best friends, a huge part of my family. From a very young age we have had border collies in our family, I am literally obsessed with this breed. 


Miss Juniper Berry!


Juniper is the youngest one at the small age of 2, she is full of beans and always on the go. She is a little rocket when you let her off the lead, you have to keep an eye on this one at all times. She enjoys swimming in the water, even when we say no its too cold. Her cheekiness melts my heart every single day and to capture a moment like this is everything. 

I owe my happiness to my little family, today was a magical day in the Autumn leaves. I love simple days like this, it brings joy to my life. I will treasure the pictures of us for many years to come, I love how full of life the border collies are. They give you unconditional love, cuddles, kisses and listen to what you need. Sometimes they are too cleaver for their own good, for example Juno can open the freezer door. 

Today was a happy day and I am so pleased we captured it. I hope you enjoyed my post and I will see you again tomorrow with some more content.

Cosmopolitan Magazine Influencer Awards Goodie Bag.

 Today I thought I would give you an isight into the goodie bag from the awards night. I just want to thank Cosmopolitan and the sponsors for such a lovely night and for filling the bag full of goodies. You can see my night at the awards here, I had the best night of my life there and to be surrounded by influencers was incredible. Being shortlisted from 10 000 nomination to the category Influencers choice award meant the world to me, thank you.
 So inside the goodie bag the sponsors Blossom Hill kindly gave us each bottle of the Elderflower and lemon spritz. During the awards I drank a couple glasses of this and I can confirm I enjoyed it, this is coming from a non drinker. I was excited to see a Kabuki Brush inside the goodie bag, I am always happy to have new make up brushes. 
 The toothpaste weirdly is something I am so exited to try out, it helps to restore original whiteness. So this was a great piece in the goodie bag, along with the Five Guys gift card. Robs never been to Five guys so I will be treating him to a meal there soon in Manchester.The Baylis & Harding hand wash is in my bathroom already, it is very sweet but smells incredible. Frosted Sprinkles is a real treat and the packing looks fab.
 Eylure and Elegant Touch were at the awards making us all look incredible with gorgeous lashes and nails. I am a massive fan of Elegant Touch, I wore some of the nails to the awards. Easy to apply and last well, I can confirm this as I wear them to work sometimes and I work in a pet store. Cleaning and delivery take a massive hit on my nails, they last a decent time. 

I have been on the hunt to try out OGX products but never got round to it, no idea why. I have been missing out big time as they are amazing for my sensitive scalp. From day one my hair felt incredible and soft. My scalp usually will be on fire when I use a new product but this time it felt soothed. I am a massive fan of OGX now and I am so happy to have a couple products from them. The girls at the OGX counter at the awards were so lovely, so kind and chatty. I will have to have this collection in my life from now on and I want to try out some more products from them. The coconut milk helps to soothe my scalp which is a miracle in itself.

My Mini Christmas Haul From Lush.

 Last week I headed into my favourite Lush shop in the Trafford Centre and picked up some Christmas goodies. I have been waiting a long time to try out the new products and Christmas is my favourite time of the year. Lush over Halloween and Christmas make incredible products, its my time to spend way too much on my card. I wanted to share with you a few things I picked up. 
 This is Peeping Santa made from Shea butter, chocolate to make the perfect bubbly bath. I love to pick up bubble bars because you get to use them again, with a small amount you get incredible bubbles. This one is a true Christmas gem, it creates an indulgent bath ready for the cold nights. £3.95.
 Every year I pick up this little guy, The Christmas Penguin. Again this is a bubble bar but you get so many baths out of it, I use this for at least three baths. It creates magical bubbles that smells uplifting. Great to use before you head out for the day, it gives you a big warm, uplifting hug. This is one of my all time favourite Lush products at Christmas, you cannot go wrong with this one. £3.95
 This is Star Dust which is new to my radar from the Christmas range in Lush, I am excited to try this one out. From the video on the page it makes your bath go blue. This is a bath bomb which has rose wood oils in it and scented with vanilla to make it nice and soft. This would be perfect for a cold night, drinking hot chocolate in the bath and having an early night. £2.95.
Now this little guy is the cutest thing in the shop, I picked this one up first and it went straight into a bag without a second thought. I enjoy using the bubble bars like this because you get to use it more than once. I pop mine on the side of the bath ready to use each night until it sadly finishes. It is filled with Brazilian orange oil, making it the most Christmasy one I bought. Creating the perfect Winter bath filled with bubbles, ready for a night of pamper. £5.95

Cosmopolitan Magazine Influencer Awards 2016.

 So it is still so exciting to stay this but this year I was shortlisted from 10 000 nominations into the Influencers choice award category. Being shortlisted and attending the event meant so much to me, it was a night I will remember for a long time. I didn't win my category but honestly it meant so much just to be there. It was amazing to be in a room full of team internet, women and men who are super talented and it is great to have it recognised by Cosmo. 
 I want to start off with saying how lovely Zoe London is, she made the effort to come over and say hello. I am so proud of her for winning Content of the year, dam this girl deserves it. I love that she recognises who comments and supports her, I am a big fan of her work. It was lovely to finally meet her and have a good chat. She inspires me to create and go for my dreams. Congratulations Zoe!!
 The venue was in Kensington Gardens and it was stunning, as soon as I walked in I was amazed by it all. The Orangery was a beautiful location for the awards, it felt so special to  be there. The lighting was incredible and all the flowers made it a bloggers dream. It really felt special to be able to attend the awards with so many people I look up to and admire. Look at the beautiful ceiling, just wow!
 A little note to Fleur, now she is a women I look up to, admire because she works her butt off over on her social media platforms. You can tell by all the amazing content she creates, she is my favourite person who is a big influence to me. To see her in person again was amazing because I admire her hard work and dedication. A little fan girl moment but when I told her Well done, she smiled big and said thank you. She is a warm, lovely person who deserves all of the success in life. Congratulations Fleur!!
 This was the stunning location, I feel so lucky to be able to attend. I feel so inspired by all the amazing people who I met. I love attending events in London, traveling down from Manchester and this was the most incredible one by far. 


 The sponsors of the night Blossom Hill made the place look magical with all the pink flowers and this blossom tree was beautiful. I made sure to Instagram a few snaps and take lots of pictures near it. This made the room light up and I felt so happy to be there, stunning decor in a location only dreams are made off. 
 I want to say a massive thank you to Beth from What She Did because she made me feel amazing on the night. Beth kindly did my make up for me and my hair, I felt amazing. She gave me some make up tips that I will be trying out more and made me feel like a princess for the night. I work in a pet shop for my job and as you can imagine not very glam, I felt awesome for the awards and I cannot thank her enough. 

 My dress is from Asos and it is something new to me to wear, usually I cover up but I felt like trying a new style. I mean the bra issue of finding one to go with this dress wasn't fun but it payed off. The back has a cross over and a lot of my back showing. I might have changed the style of shoe I wore but they did me well, they only started to hurt towards the end of the night. 
The music was fab and she used to be in MIC!!



 I will be doing a review on my hotel I stayed in but I wanted to mention how amazing it was. The location was spot on and in a beautiful, blogger friendly area with stunning views. It was in Kensington and I really enjoyed my stay here. Free breakfast added to our stay and a comfy bed. The shower was incredible, making it great to get ready in for the awards. Than you Kensington Gardens Hotel, I will be staying again. I highly recommend if you are staying for a night or two or want somewhere with easy access to tubes. Honestly a great place to stay. 


What a fantastic night, I had so much fun meeting people and enjoying the atmosphere. Being in the same room as people I admire, who I look up to felt unreal. Being up for an award meant so much to me, I didn't win but what I got from the experience was incredible. Ive come home to the north feeling inspired, ready to up my game and enjoy team internet.

I feel proud of myself for what I have achieved and excited to create more content. Beth made me feel like a princess for the night and I feel like I can do more beauty content over on here. Can I do it all over again please, what a fantastic night it was.
