Prepping For The New Year Pamper Routine.

There is nothing better than starting a new year but there can be things that can set your anxiety levels flying like how much you spent in December and how to get rid of all that food you ate etc etc etc. You must remember Christmas is all about having fun and you can start a whole new months fresh with new goals and ideas. I love to have a pamper session with all my favourite products to cheer me up and set me off for the week ahead. There is no better time to do it than just before the new year.

Sanctuary very kindly sent me this over the Christmas period and I have saved it to use for the new year. I am obsessed with the scent of the products and they work a treat for when you need a pamper. I love using the body polish with the mitten to scrub my skin ready to put on fake tan or just to feel refreshed.

The cleansing body wash is a big favourite of mine, it leaves your skin feeling polished and clean smelling amazing. Sanctuary do one of the best products for a real good pamper you feel like you have used something really special every single time. It is affordable and you can pick it up from your local Boots, which is handy when you feel like a treat.

I am all about candles in the house, this candle I have been after for ages. It sits perfectly next to my bed ready for when I want to read a book after my bath. It is such a simple design yet the candle fits in really well in the bedroom. All this comes in a pretty cosmetic bag, useful when you stay away from home.

I am obsessed with minis so this little kit is perfect to get you all set for New year!

Two Books To Read In The New Year.

I've managed to drag myself out of my comfy dressing gown to my desk in my office to type up some blog posts. I don't know about you but I am looking forward to a new year, new start. It is that time of year now where you think about your goals and what you want to do in the new year. I have been reading two books that I am obsessed with and I wanted to share them with you. They are already a big hit in the blogging world, I see them all over Twitter but I wanted to make a blog post about them to show how special they are.
The first book I wanted to share with you is Bloom by Estee Lalonde who you will already recognise as a girl boss, influential, beauty, all round amazing women. I am personally a big fan of her content on YouTube and her vlogs make me laugh and smile. I was excited to see that she was bringing out a book, which I soon added to my amazon basket.
The first thing you notice is the stunning photographs, I really appreciate a book with this. It feels as though you can picture what she is talking about and you feel as though you get to know her on a much deeper level. I love that she did this for us to read, in each chapter you learn more.  She offers her tips on surviving life, finding your style and getting to know who you really are.
There are so many chapters in this book, from beauty to food. She doesn't leave anything hidden in the book, you really get to know her and her loves, upbringing and life. She is a powerful women in the beauty industry and more. What an amazing women to look up to, one hell of a girl boss. If you haven't already got this book you need it in your life, even if you are new to YouTube or Estee.

In this book you get to know more about Hygge which is everything from the art of creating intimacy, cosiness of the soul to taking pleasure in the presence of soothing things. I am all about my surroundings, they really control my mind set. If my house is messy, so is my mind. I feel that your space really changes how you feel and see things which is why i was interested in this book.

You know the feeling when you are cuddled up on the sofa with your boyfriend or a loved one, going out with a friend you adore. Now that is what Hygge is all about. I am all about the small things that make you happy, so this book was an exciting Christmas gift. In 2017 i want it to be all about those moments of happiness from the smallest things. When someone makes you smile for the smallest comment or being cuddled up in bed with my dogs on a cold morning like today.

I am excited to finish this book and really take it all in this new year. It is a great gift for a friend or to yourself. 2017 is all about peace for me, I want to become myself again and really enjoy life. It really is the smallest things in life that make me happy and I want more of those moments.

The pictures inside this book is home goals, all I want is to make my surroundings happy and to feel content. I feel as though I am too harsh on myself, my brain tells me off all the time. 2017 is about feeling a lot more relaxed and I hope this book guides me there.

What do you think of these books?

How To Be The Best You.. / BodyForm Challenge.

BodyForm* very kindly sent over a challenge yourself goodie bag filled with things to make me challenge myself this year. Inside the goodie bag I found a selfie stick, remote, gym top, water bottle, Pro slim liners and a Ticket Master gift card. The gift card was so un expected so thank you to BodyForm. I have to admit going to gigs as a teenager was my favourite thing to do, now that I am 25 I find myself in the same routine each day. So it will be great to challenge myself to go out and have some fun.

Having confidence to do something fun and exciting when you are on your period is hard work, you feel gross, down and moody right? Well BodyForm have set up a challenge to make you feel confident when you feel like this. Challenging you to go to the gym, go to a gig, festival and still feel as confident as you would normally. BodyForm have challenged me to go to a gig and document it, having fun and helping me along with my confidence to say yes!

It is normal to feel less motivated during your time of the month but having the confidence with the ProLiners will help you to take on any challenge. So my challenge to myself is to go to the gym three times a week without any hold backs in time to feel confident watching Little Mix next year. The Little Mix concert is my goal date to feel more confident in myself and to wear something incredible. I feel like a ball of mess right now but having this to look forward to is really helping my confidence.

"What I'm afraid of is people seeing me, how I see myself"

I am all set to start my new year, new me in the gym with my work out top and my personalised water bottle. My goal is to feel confident watching Little Mix without any worries in my head, I want it to be a night to remember. I am obsessed with their new album and when I feel stressed or worried I put my ear phones in and put the volume up high. I can guarantee you I feel much better after. So me and my best friend will have a great night watching them live, thanks to BodyForm.
Starting a new year can be exciting and I am determined to make this my year of feeling me again with the help from BodyFrom. I cannot thank them enough for giving me a goal and something to look forward to. My aim is to feel healthy again and look after my appearance. I want to smile more and have a good time without any anxiety taking over my mind during any fun experiences. I feel empowered already and I am excited for what will happen in 2017.

2017 will be about saying yes to things because usually I am too afraid of new things, going out of my concert zone. 2017 will be me challenging myself to be a new fresh me, saying YES to things that scare me. I will be documenting my progress at the gym on my blog with the help from BodyForm so there will be lots of updates. I have to admit I have down days and I want to stop those with the help of the gym, even when I feel the lowest. Keep an eye out for my new blog post on my experience at the gym coming soon.

My Christmas Tree 2016.

This is my favourite Christmas tree we have ever done, its full of things that I adore. Wildlife had to be a theme in it this year, I am obsessed with the theme as you may have seen in my bedroom posts. Red and gold was a theme from the start, I wanted it to be subtle yet look incredible when the lights are shining bright. I sit in my lounge feeling all happy and festive watching films with the tree centre stage in my bay windows. I picked up the candles From Asda as well as all my decorations this year.

This makes me so happy to share on my blog, I feel really proud of our tree this year. It looks amazing in the window and I feel really happy sat cuddling my dogs and Rob watching films waiting for Santa paws to come and give my dogs their presents. I adore all the wooden hints in the tree, the stars and christmas tree ornaments are awesome. I picked them up from Asda for around £2 each. I adore the woodland creates that are in the tree, £2 from Asda and our little birds are from last years tree.

Asda was amazing this year, we picked up the tree and all the ornaments for short of £70 which is amazing. We started all over again with this tree, last year we moved house and I took all our stuff to the skip in a big clear out. I am pleased we started again because I am in love with this design. Wood, red ribbons and little creates made the tree our perfect tree.

The star garland was from Asda too, I think it was £5 which is a bargain and it looks great above the tree. The red ribbons really completed the tree for me, I picked them up for  £1 per pack. Pound land and Pound Stretcher have amazing decorations in this year. Wilkos have some really cute things in too.

I am super excited to get all my presents under the tree and by all most likely all for my dogs...

Selfridges Beauty Advent Calendar 2016.

There is nothing better than opening up an advent calendar on the run up to Christmas, this year I was lucky enough to have a beauty one. I have a chocolate one at work at this one for home which is so exciting, I have the best boyfriend surprising me with this. I mentioned to Rob that I would really love a beauty one this year and one arrived a few days later and to my surprise it was a Selfridges one. This has been such an exciting calendar to open, so many products I have been meaning to try out in 2016.
It is such a beautiful calendar sitting under my Christmas tree waiting for me to open it each morning. There are so many beautiful products so far that I am so excited to use this December, such as this Molton Brown body wash. The Eve Lom cleanser has been on my wish list for a while now, this is such a decent size too. My skin will love me in 2017 with all the stunning new products.
Eylure is a great brand to find in this beauty advent calendar and a great one to start with. I will be wearing them for my Christmas party on Saturday. I wish this advent calendar lasted all year round, imagine opening this all year round and feeling excited to test out more beauty things.
Day 3 was my favourite of all the products due to opening to find this beauty in there, I have been after one for ages. It is super adorable and cute the size it comes in, ready for travel and easy to keep safe in your bathroom pamper bag/shelf. My skin will love me now that I have one of these, so cool that it has this in it. Bring on my skin care routines for 2017!

The Better Than Sex mascara from Too Faced has been on my wish list for a while now too and I am so excited to test out this mini before I buy the larger version. My make up this December will be amazing with all the new goodies to test out. I will be wearing them all for my Christmas party/ day this year. Blotterazzi beauty blender was a great one to find in the calendar to make my foundation look spot on this year.

One product I am so excited to test out is the Rodial bee venom cleansing balm, you pop some on your face when it is dry and use a muslin cloth to remove it with warm water. So my 2017 beauty looks and skin care will be a great one, all down to this amazing calendar. A massive thank you to my boyfriend for this gift, it has made my December very special.

The most exciting thing is, I still have 11 days left to open...
